Warum ist denn da nun nichts passiert? Da flog verdammt nochmal ein Pfeil durch seinen Hals!!
Ja, sie können nicht ständig ihre Hauptfiguren umbringen, was sie ja sowieso eigentlich nie tun oder? Aber trotzdem war da doch schon irgendwie ein Spannungsmoment mit dabei. Dazu eine hübsche kleine Campinggeschichte, Rückblenden mit lustig sprechenden Menschen und ein bisschen Beziehungsklimbim.
Wäre jede Folge ein halbes Staffelfinale, würde da die Luft ganz schnell raus sein. Und wir wissen ja auch wie viele unbeantworteten Fragen sowas immer wieder aufwirft.
Also bin ich zufrieden mit der Folge. Allerdings bin ich gegen Ende eingeschlafen, wer war da hinter der Maske?

Die Folge war goodish. Nur habe ich jetzt Angst um Desmond im Finale. Der wird doch wohl kein heldenhaften religiösen Opfertod sterben um Charlies Leben zu retten. Bitte nicht Desmond killen

Und Desmond können sie nicht absägen. Nicht nach dem Ende von Staffel 2 … Penelope scheint eine tragende Rolle zu spielen, die sich (vermutet) wohl nicht in den letzten paar Folgen komplett lösen lassen wird. Und Penny ohne Desmond geht mal gar nicht. Charlie können sie ruhig killen, der nervt doch eh nur noch rum … whä, Claire hier, Claire da. Omfg where's my heroin?!
Und bitte, bitte, bitte laßt Juliet sterben. Die Frau ist echt auf dem besten Wege die ganze Show zu verderben. Zum Glück sieht's momentan danach aus, als würde sie Jack in den Rücken fallen. Und hoffentlich knallt unser aller Liebling Sawyer sie dann ab.

- We'll see the overthrow of DHARMA scientists by the workers led by Jacob, who was the instigator of the revolution and the saviour of Ben. Unfortunately, Jacob was unable to save Ben's family which we'll see.
- We'll come to understand that the mysterious (this name is a spoiler until it is told to us in an ep) wasn't the only traveler on the expedition flight to the island (hint: a male was with her who'll wash ashore later), but is in fact a spy of the DHARMA Initiative who's come to investigate exactly what happened on the island.
- The triggers for her visit were the meltdown of the Swan Station and the loss of contact with the Flame Station. A series of "secure" codes had to be input from the Flame to give DHARMA the green light that everything was fine, and to continue the food drops the same way the numbers had to be input in the Swan. The Others (hostiles) were successful keeping up appearances with Mikhail's help until Locke destroyed it.
- Cerberus, aka "The Smoke Monster" was a DHARMA experiment in both nanotechnology and neural networking which was used to guard the perimeter of various stations intuitively, but was damaged during the purge of DHARMA controllers, It has since gone rogue and become self aware.
- The "Others" as we've come to know and love (or hate) are truly the good guys who gained their own freedom and were actively attempting to reverse the effects of experiments performed on them by DHARMA, and the effects of the island on unprotected humans until Flight 815 interrupted them.
- Ben confides in Locke that they were basically slaves to DHARMA and they must keep up the ruse that DHARMA is still in control or they will all die from a common enemy. Jacob is the head "inmate" who orchestrated the revolution, and who remains hidden in plain sight but is still the one they must answer to.
- We find out that Penelope Widmore has been a member of DHARMA all along, and the station in Antarctica is run by DHARMA. Desmond has a vision of Penelope which is frightening and reveals new, truthful memories about how they really met at the monastery.
- Ben dies in the finale along with a few Others, as does Kate and Sayid. Sawyer and most of the Losties blame Jack and Juliet for Kate and Sayid's deaths due to his plan. Jack is forced to go with the surviving Others, and we see Tom by his side as he protects his new leader. From the sky we see images of the island as if from the viewpoint of a coming aircraft. It seems DHARMA has sent someone (or something) to the island and it's not nice.

Ich fand sie very nice. Hoffentlich kassiert Juliet nächste Folge dann auch mal.

Ich fand sie nur ok, weil wirklich alles sehr vorhersehbar war und es keinen wirklichen wtf Moment gab. Und zu Juliet, es deutet jetzt doch wieder alles daraufhin, dass sie ein Doppelagent ist und zusammen mit Jack gegen Ben arbeitet. Das ganze wird natürlich nächste Woche von Sawyer gesprengt.

Hmm, die we're-all-dead-Theorie hat was. Wobei ich ja glaube, daß sie das Gespräch zwischen Sawyer und Sawyer nur eingebaut haben, damit die Fans, die eh schon von Anfang an der Meinung waren, daß die Insel die Hölle/das Purgatorium ist, endlich Ruhe geben.
Und Juliet soll verprügelt werden. Ich möchte, daß Kate sie vermöbelt bis der Arzt kommt. Sie hat es einfach verdient, diese Frau ist das absolute Haßobjekt der ganzen Serie. Und Jack mutiert dank ihr auch zu einem unsympathischen Idioten.

wenigstens sind jetzt eine menge fragen geklärt.hätte man aber auch in nur 2 staffeln schaffen können
ich kapier nicht wie die anderen ohne u boot von der insel weg gekommen sind.sie müssen also noch auf der insel sein oder haben noch weitere boote.das hätte locke ja aber rausbekommen da er ja noch bei den anderen ist,wodurch sein wegsprengen des uboots ja völlig wirkungslos gewesen wäre.auch für ihn selbst weil er ja jede möglichkeit der flucht von der insel vernichten will.
ich verstehe übrigens nicht wieso das magnetfeld der insel es unmöglich macht funksprüche wegzusenden oder die insel per radar ausfindig zu machen aber bei ben dann riesige computer mit lifeschaltung nach draussen im keller sind

Ich finde Juliet toll. Man weiß nie so ganz genau woran man ist (hoffe ich zumindest) und sie sieht dabei noch gut aus
Ich möchte Duke aber mal zustimmen, das war schon alles sehr offensichtlich diesmal. Auch dass mit dem Sawyer² konnte man sich ja schon beim Aufbruch denken. Trotzdem dann irgendwie recht traurig die Szene mit dem Brief. Nur halt eben nicht so spannend.
Naja und Kate ist ein bisschen sehr deppig. Aber wie lange wollten die das auch geheim halten, wenn immer die unauffälligen Menschentrauben vor dem Zelt rumlungern.

Und fünf Staffeln ist gut. Was Six Feet Under macht, kann nicht falsch sein. Auch wenn bei Ally McBeal die fünfte schon zu viel war.
