Bin sehr gespannt auf den Film.

Außerdem: Es geht langsam so richtig los. Wenn CW ihre Pläne richtig hinkriegen, scheiß ich liebend gern auf die DC-Hollywood-Filme.

The CW surprised many this morning when the announcement came that they're looking to start another DC Comic TV series, starring The Flash. Since then we've learned that the character will be introduced in the upcoming season of Arrow and the network is still mulling over the spin-off potential of the character.

We also know that Arrow writers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg and DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns are writing a script for the pilot and that David Nutter, director of the Arrow pilot, could direct The Flash pilot.

A few more updates have come along since then (via Deadline) including word that the character is set to appear in the 8th or 9th episode in the upcoming season of Arrow, and casting is expected to begin this week.

"Barry Allen’s story always has been a favorite of mine," Berlanti said, "as well as of Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns. We wanted everyone to know about the show as that process commenced. We think it fits well both in terms of Arrow and as a stand-alone series."
Woah ...

Off the heels of their announcement that The Flash might be getting his own TV series spinning out of Arrow, The CW President Mark Pedowitz said today their Wonder Woman pilot "Amazon" is being put "on pause" for the time being. "The script isn’t where we want it,” he said.“It’s better to wait and get it right.”

These developments echo similar comments Pedowitz made a few months ago, but with the project being officially "put on pause" we can forgo the previous reports of a Spring 2014 debut for the series as those no longer seem likely.

"Amazon" is said to be a retelling of the origin of Diana of Themyscira in a similar way that Arrow retold Oliver Queen's origin story. The news of a "Flash" spin-off from Arrow means the CW might be mulling over a similar path for the character in the future.
ABER, und das rechne ich ihnen hoch an, mit dieser Begründung sollten viel mehr Serien on ice gelegt werden.
