Variety reports that the popular Image Comic's series Rat Queens and Peter Panzerfaust, both created by writer Kurtis J. Wiebe, will be making the journey to the small screen, each as a television series. "Rat Queens" will be produced by Weta Workshop’s Pukeko Pictures and Heavy Metal, who plan on turning the comedic fantasy into a half-hour animated series. "Peter Panzerfaust" on the other hand will be produced by BBC Worldwide and Heavy Metal with "Life on Mars" creators Matthew Graham and Ashley Pharoah writing the pilot script.

Created by Wiebe and Roc Upchurch, Rat Queens launched this past September and is described as follows: "Who are the Rat Queens? A pack of booze-guzzling, death-dealing battle maidens-for-hire, and they're in the business of killing all god's creatures for profit. It's also a darkly comedic sass-and-sorcery series starring Hannah the Rockabilly Elven Mage, Violet the Hipster Dwarven Fighter, Dee the Atheist Human Cleric and Betty the Hippy Smidgen Thief."

Peter Panzerfaust was also created by Wiebe with artist Tyler Jenkins. The series launched in February of 2012 and is a retelling of J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" set in the backdrop of Nazi-occupied France during World War II instead of the fantastical Neverland. Check back here for more info on these projects as we learn them.

Letztere Option ist mir gar nicht in den Sinn gekommen, obwohl es so geil passen würde und thematisch naheliegend erscheint Fragt sich nur, ob Marvel das mitmachen würde.
