Hmm, habe mich doch entschieden, in den nächsten Wochen noch Tales of Destiny Remake zu kaufen, könnte mir eventuell jemand einen guten Shop nennen, wo man zumindest mit Paypal bezahlen kann? Ich habe meine bisherigen jap. Games hauptsächlich bei ebay erworben, wäre nett, wenn mir jemand weiterhelfen könnte. Mit Play-Asia habe ich übrigens keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht...

Himeya-Shop... haben mich in Sachen Limited Edition noch nie enttäuscht.... und waren (fast) immer pünktlich. Ist eben vorteilhaft, dass sie Japan-basiert sind.

Nachteil: Bei der Vorreservation muss man gleich bezahlen... und das geht glaubs nur via Credit Card.

Nore benutzt Goshourai dazu, um seine CC wieder zu erhöhen, um dann eine längere Angriffskette zu starten. Am Anfang wirst du das mit Backsteps machen müssen, oder normalen Angriffen - oder du spammst Majinken wie ich. xD

Ich habe Batista eben zum zweiten Mal besiegt... Mal sehen, was passiert.

Stahn hat 5 Hi Ougis (Wovon eine Final Boss only ist -> Zankuutenshouken), alle anderen außer Leon (welcher 2 hat) haben voraussichtlich jeweils drei Stück.

I want to know what in the world is a Hi-Ougi?
I played Tales of Legendia on ps2 and Symphonia on game cube and I didn't see anything like that.
People use to say that Hi-Ougis are a random finish attack, so why do you guys pay so much attention on them?
How do you perform them?
I have a friend that told me that Hi-ougis are programming bugs, and only the devellopers have the knowledge of them.

Hello,
Hi Ougis are kind of special attacks which you can activate under certain conditions in battle.
In most cases they look amazing and do fairly good damage.

There aren't any Hi Ougis in Tales of Legendia, but they do exist in Tales of Symphonia. For example, you have to use Indignation 50x times with Genis. Then, if he gets this black aura which is also called "Overlimit", you use Indignation with him again and he will do his Hi Ougi "Indignation Judgement".

Oh, and personally, I don't care much about Hi Ougis, but there are some people here who are kind of obsessed with them^^.

Well, Sir Swordy pretty much said everything there is to know about hi-ougis...

Just one thing I might add: In case you are wondering about what hi-ougi actually means: It's Japanese for "Secret Inner Technique"... so "hi" does not stand for "high" as many people think.


Programming bugs? What kind of friend did tell you something like that?

Well, sure, there have been many hi-ougis over the past that kinda never made it into the game but are partly in the DVD ROM data.

ToL for example hat voices for all hi-ougis... but none of them is actually in the game. ToA too got some hi-ougis that weren't in the game... but were completed for the US version.


And yeah, thing about them is that they are so flashy and coooool (graphics and voices)! That's at least why I am obsessed with them.




But anyway, remember that this is the ToD board, so we should get back on topic again.

So, anyone feels like listing all the hi-ougis with their quotes?

I guess this question is a bit off topic, but...
Well, I'm a big fan of Tales of series, but since I dunno japanese, I only play english versions of them. The point is that I'm rather slow, and I can only play Tales of on normal mode.
I'm wondering if you guys have those quick skills, like you're playing Devil may cry 3 or Ninja gaiden.
I had the ideia that Holystar was a bit slow too, but when I saw his videos, well I realised that he's an hardcore player.
By the way, anyone finish the games 100%, like all the sidequests, items and that stuff?
