Auch, auf die Gefahr hin, jetzt Religionen und Ideale zu zerstören, aber der OST von PSG ist, wenn man ihn sich mal fernab des Animes ansieht, tatsächlich recht... wie würde Cipo sagen... durchschnittlich.
Ich meine, klar, es gibt schöne Musik (Also weniger OSTich als mehr normal) wie das Ending, aber gerade auch so vielgefeierte Sachen wie z.b. das Scanty und Kneesocks-Theme (Hab das selbst damals tierisch gehyped) oder FLY AWAY NOW sind eigentlich nur ganz okay und funktionieren einfach nur im Kontext der Serie, weil das Zusammenspiel da auch so "episch" und abgedreht ist. (Man denke eben nur an die Folge mit dem S & K-Theme die eine einzige Actionszene war. Goes with Everything)
Fü sich alleine sind das einfach ganz gute, aber schlecht abgemischte und unqualikative Discodudler, die man schnell aus den Ohren hat. Also will sagen, der OST ist sehr toll in der Serie, für sich allein ist er maximal gut. Mal als Beispiel, hatte gerade das Scantykneesocks-Theme an und musste es nach 30 Sec wegen Ohrenschmerzen wieder ausmachen. Kein Witz.
Und um mal meinen Senf zur ganzen Diskussion abzugeben:
Wer Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt nach den ersten fünf Sekunden noch in irgendeiner Form ernst nimmt, hat es verdient, damit so richtig auf die Fresse zu fliegen. Alle anderen können mit dem Anime glaube ich wunderbar ihren Spaß haben. Ich war unterhalten.
Und der Zeichenstil ist speziell, aber wenn man sich erstmal dran gewöhnt hat... gerade, wenn man durch die Verwandlungsszenen merkt, wie die beiden wirklich aussehen, wird ihr Verhalten witzig. gg*

Die ganzen Gatari-Serien sind auch eher lahm. Da hatte ich mal in eine Katanagatari-Episode reingeguckt(nicht von Shaft aber Shaft hat ja genug andern Gatari-Kram) und fand die Episode erst mal ziemlich lang... und dann brauchte ich Stunden, da man halt alle paar Minuten was anderes macht, weils langweilig ist und man nicht in einem Stück gucken kann, wenn die die ganze Zeit belanglose Sachen reden.

Was mich an California Crisis so fasziniert ist die Tatsache, dass man genau merkt dass die Macher Amerika super finden aber keinen Schimmer hatten wie Zeug in Amerika funktioniert, sei es rein von der Psyche der Leute (Dude lässt einfach seinen Pontiac links am Wegesrand stehen ohne eine Miene zu verziehen, wut?) als auch von blöden Actionfilm-Klischees her (DIE RUSSEN). Und ich hab lieber unterhaltsam-doof als doof-doof. Außerdem: dat Soundtrack. Und das beste Nicht-Ende aller Zeiten Sölfs Gesichtsausdruck als Reaktion darauf war das Beste an dem Oldschool-Abend.
Was Champloos Ende angeht: Ich hab geheult wie ein Mädchen, weil es gerade so ruhig und irgendwie hübsch in sich geschlossen war.
