Wie wär's, wenn wir mal in diesem Thread nur Englisch über den Maker reden? Manche Lehrer sagen ja, PC sei Verblödung, aber wenn man dabei Englisch lernt...?

My favourite Maker ist the RM2K3 because of the missing of alternatives.
The 2K is older and I miss some features,the RM XP was very embarassing...

My favourite Maker is the 2000. The XP is to complicated for me. But I have a little problem. Since I' ve installed the trial version of RmXP the 2000 don't play mp3s. (oder so ähnlich)

Well, as said, the idea is interesting, but the topic you chose has already been discussed for many times, so it will probably lead to each poster, to post one line with some "I loveZ RmXP Looolz" or so without a real discussion. How about making this to a general English Maker-thread, where everyone just talks about what he's making, what he likes to do, when creating a game, what he dislikes, etc.
These might be the usual topics as well, but it'd bring more alternatives and more content to post. And the longer the posts, the more interesting it is!

My favourite maker is the 2k(,too). I think it is the real best because the 2k3 is only a copy of them and the xp is very strong.

With the XP you have a lot more possibilitys. But you should know Ruby, I think.

Yes, making Ruby into the RMXP, was one of the best ideas, Enterbrain had^^
The possibilities are almost infinite, think of the nice guys (calis), which have made a mmorpg with the RMXP^^
And such graphics... Just genius^^

@ Blank: It's quite a good idea, to open a thread, where you have to write your message in English, because it teaches your own English abilities!
My favourite Maker is the 2ker, because it's simple to serve and there are the most ressources for it.
Especially the technical part is very easy to understand.

I have a question, at all:
I usually use the RM2K3, but I would like to try a game with the RMXP. But the RGSS isn't the best packet of ressources...
So: Where could I find high-quality RMXP Ressources?

I think, as lang as this thread will be of few spam, it will stay alive (a-ha-ha-ha...).
Well, my recent game should fit to the topic, because it contains two languages, one of those is English.
Making the English textes and dialogues is often more complicated, than I thought in the beginning, and I often have to look up words in the dictionnary.
So far, I'm fed up with leveldesign at the moment, so when I have time for Chemical Crisis, I'm ripping ressources from Metroid Fusion, that's a lot more motivating and satisfying than sitting about three hours to have a level full of bugs.
I like the RM2000 most... well I never tried another maker. But for me it's most fun to break the frontiers of the maker, to do things, no one would have thought of to be possible. And for the XP seems to have no real frontiers, I don't think that scripting with is as interesting as it is with the 2k.

Yeah the 2k3 is fuc**** cool coz' ya can do everything ya wanna do with this shit fuc**** tool. I dunno any damn bugs and its kinda fun to become creative with it.
I think everybode will understand this little criticism...
Just one thing: So as we have english guys in our community, could you correct my homework or esseys in school??

I am using (like most people in this board) RPG Maker 2000. I think I have worked with 2003 some weeks and I liked the new features, but in the end I went back to the maker roots so to speak. ^^
I haven't done anything with XP yet. I'm sure it would be a big change and I really dislike the high transition of XP. I like this small 2000 transition, also when you can't work with pictures so great as you can in XP.
@ Topic: Why not, great idea. My English is really bad, but maybe I could increase my "skills" by speaking a little bit more.
