@ Diomedes: And I still don't like Tolkien. I really appreciated to read Shakespeare, but Tolkien... well, you all know the story.

It was just a matter of time 'til some would open a French thread... shit. Although I understand most of the text when reading it, I don't understand a word when it is spoken. And additionally I just can't write a single French post. I really unlearned nearly all words and grammar as well. Sadly so.

I just hope nobody's going up to something. Although I'm moderator in this discussion forum, I really don't know all of the French swear-words.

    Cheerio!

Such a waste of time, I finished my homework a few minutes ago and what should I say about it? It is just ridiculous and laughable! It was a "What can u see on teh pretty picture?" "What do you think the comic wants to show us?" exercise (about South Africa and the Apartheid...uhh BORING). Am I in a Kindergarden? And the best thing: my English teacher (Miss Bölköw, it sounds even like someone who cant speak english) is making a lot of spelling mistakes? Is that a bad joke?

as ever I would appreciate it if someone would point out my mistakes in this post ^^ (not spelling mistakes xD)

    As you wish …

It is just ridiculous and laughable!
"Ridiculous" and "laughable" are synonyms, so there's no need to mention both in one sentence. If you did it for a specific reason (eg. to point out the fact), just ignore my correction.

    Am I in a Kindergarden?
Kindergarten is an uncountable noun, so it's "am I in kindergarten"; without the article.

You should say "makes a lot of …" because the progressive form indicates that she is doing it right now. Well, it could be that she is making mistakes right now, but since you're writing about a general habit, you should use the present simple tense. The question mark is also weird.

That's what I found so far but it's no problem at all. One would mark these mistakes in an exam but everyone understands what you're saying, so stay frosty.

Ahh shit I was thinking about it "Should I write makes a lot or is making a lot" but now it makes sense and the question mark wasnt my intention ^^.

    thx

feel free to point out my mistakes at anytime

Same here. But for obvious reasons I will first buy a Porsche 911 in green. That's a nice way to go … from VW Polo to VW Golf (my current ride, so I'm halfway there!) to Posche 911 to Lamborghini Diablo.

In that case it will be: from Mazda 3 (current ride) to Audi Sportcabrio (or something familiar), follwed by Lamborghini Diablo... yellow of course. I just love those doors. :creepy:

Sorry but I can't figure out what may be so great in a Lamborghini Diablo. I'm just no big fan of this typical italian sports car design. Can't see a major difference to a Ferrari. Looks allmost the same.

I prefer something less expensive and more elegant. Something like a Mitsubishi 3000GT or a Nissan Skyline. Maybe a bit tiny, but that's ok. 8)

If it has to be a "usual" car, I would choose a Opel Astra or a Nissan 350 Z. Of course, in my current financial condition I would be happy about any car, even if it's already 20 years old. I just don't want to take this expenisve, noisy, gross smelling, unconfortable, time ignoring bus anymore.

I am cursed thats for sure. I wish since my childhood for a BMW 3 as my first car and it IS possible to get it. A good girlfriend told me today that she would get the BMW from her brother, I was fucking shocked. She said a few months ago " This car is to big, I would never drive such a car" and now she is such a pain in the neck.. argh I could kill myself..I am so jealous

AAAAAAAND the english lession is still boring as ever, last time we should start a discussion of two groups who represent the blacks and the other group the apartheit freaks. I dindt take part in the discussion and it went like that:

"Why do we have to work so hard"
    "Because you are black"
"Why do we get such bad jobs and education"
    "Because your are black"
"But we are humans like your"
    "Black humans dont have brains"
"Are you ACHTUNG DAS WURDE ECHT VON EINER SCHÜLERING GESAGT! angsty of us?"

Just like that a whole hour.. Pisa anyone?

NOW GO GODESS ^^ take my post apart!

"Are you ACHTUNG DAS WURDE ECHT VON EINER SCHÜLERING GESAGT! angsty of us?"
Actually, the word "angst" does exist in the English language. It's one of the rare germanisms they adopted from us (like kindergarten oder rucksack). Its meaning however is slightly different from the German counterpart since "angst" in English doesn't mean just fear but more something like "to be scared halfway to death" … it therefore is a quite strong expression.
I've never heard an adjective made out of it, though.

Did someone play Breath of Fire III?
I Mean, the language is so simple, I think even in nursery school they would have no problems with this game.(Well, maybe because of FSK, and don't bcause of the language^^)To play games and watch movies in english is a really good donk bridge.^^
I mean: Learn more, get more.

    Another topic^^
What do you think is meaned with"One Piece."Well, of course there is a german translation for it, but look, it can also mean Piece like part. I think its a trap :P

    Cars topic:
Ferrari, is interesting but its more a car for people who want show you who is the boss.
Lamborghini is in my opinion the better Italian sport car. There is nothing..and suddenly disappears a yellow monster with a V12 engine:P

    Porsche?

I wish since my childhood for a BMW 3 as my first car...
I would say it this way: Since I was young, I wished for a BMW 3 as my first car to have.

@DennisHH: No, I never played any of the Breath of Fire Games. But now that you are mentioning it... I think it is kind of scary (yes, I MEAN scary) that games get a bad valuation because of English language... of course, small children can't understand it, but I think most people are older than ten years when playing RPGs (where the texts are really important). I mean I've learned English because of English games, so this should be an advantage not a barrier. It will kill no one if you have to look up some words in die dictionary.

I think the One Piece is a treasure, but a symbolic one. Maybe a book, a picture or something like that. I'm sure it's not gold or anything valuable.

    I think also.
A big mystery is also, why Gold Roger died.
I mean, he was the greatest pirate on the One Piece world. There is a connection.
Maybe the One Piece is the perspective, to see that it's better to be not a pirate. After all the bad things he did, he saw that he's not satisfied. So, when you have the One Piece, you're not a pirate any more. And thats the cause why nobody has found the One Piece.
Because everybody is a pirate! And with the One Piece you can't be a pirate!
    My first theory^^

    Now the second!
    Gold Roger was Mr.2(the gaylord:P)
He has changed his face and he invented the One Piece.^^

    With friendy Greetings=WfG DennisHH
