Of course, 360 will still see a lot of my time, as it always does. Who knows, if Gears of War is as good as I think it could be, maybe I could just get hooked on that game alone and forget the Wii and PS3 for weeks at a time. Having written all that stuff about how PS3 games just look superior to the 360 stuff, Gears is probably one of the big exceptions. That game blew my mind at E3 (I said it then, but I'll say it again: it was almost like seeing the Killzone demo in realtime). It's Epic, so it's expected to look good -- I just didn't expect it to be that damn good. So yeah, Gears is the big one for me on 360 this fall.

Who knows what the next few months will really bring, though. We're under two months until the release of the PS3 and Wii and we still don't know their complete launch lineups, plus it's still too early to make the call on a lot of 360 games (the 360 has been pretty consistent in producing hits almost out of nowhere -- Dead Rising, Saints Row, etc.). I know a lot is still up in the air, but now I can at least say this: PS3? Absolutely worth the money. 360? Has the best game library this year. Wii? Buy it for Zelda, but don't expect to really love the system until next year.

Was im Grunde nur gesagt wird is: "Sony has the Graphics so Sony can't lose. 1080P 1080P 1080P"... was man sehr fein an der Ps2 gesehen hat..... und dem DS.... und der PSX.

Herrgott es gibt auf der Welt nur eine Handvoll Fernsehmodele überhaupt die 1080 KÖNNEN. Was aber nich viel aussmacht da der HD Markt ja bereits regelrecht EXPLODIERT. Ich hab gehört die ersten Leute schmeissen schon ihre VHS Recorder weg. The Wave of the Future is.... in the Future.

1080p is going to be the biggest bullshit fanboi and Marketing bulletpoint used over the next 1-2 years by Sony and Microsoft. Die ganzen High Res Videos von der TGS, die abgefilmten Vidoes von Flatscreens, die Demo Berichte, die Tests, sind alle auf 1080p oder HD Fernsehern. Egal was Microsoft oder Sony rauswerfen... wenn du im Laden stehst und Resistence oder Gears of War nach hause nimmst.... der shit wird nicht so gut aussehen wenn du es kaufst und zuhasue in deinen normalen Fernseher steckst. Das beste ist das die Leute die voreilig die 1080p Victory Flag hiessen zu 99% wie der Rest der normalen Menscheit finanziell nichtmal in die nähe eines 1080p Fernsehers kommen werden, und das auf viele viele Jahre hinaus.


Das beste ist das du schön die Stelle Markiert hast an der er sich über das ewig Gleiche Visuelle bei Nintendo beschwert aber.... oh was ne überaschung die Stelle hast du schön weggelassen. Lass mich dir helfen:

TGS was pretty much as I'd expected it to be -- it's funny how some things never really change. The layout was the same as it's always been, the booths were the same as they've always been -- and in a lot of ways, the games were the same as they'd always been, too. Gran Turismo was front and center at the Sony Booth, Devil May Cry getting played up at Capcom, Final Fantasy trailers were running at the Square-Enix booth, the new Metal Gear Solid trailer was blaring at Konami's. Yeah, things haven't changed much for TGS.

Yeah, Nintendo is Creativly Bankrupt cause man, it all is the same just with Waggle. BUT GENERIC MEDIVAL DRAGON RIDING AND DIRT RACING 43 HAS 1080p!!!!

Es ist lustig, für zwei Generationen war die SDF nichtmal existent und Sony Statment war immer "LOL Graphix? We have the better Games." Und jetzt? "Ya you can play the same Metal Gear again..... I SHOVE PPIXEL DOWN YOUR TROAT TILL YOU PUKE!!" Genauso die Xbots die jetzt IT'S IN THE GAMEPLAY schreien.

Es is kein Wunder das Leute wie du überall rumrennen, sie können nix dafür, sie kriegens ja schon auf der angeblich "professionellen" Journalisten Ebene vorgelebt.

There's also the asthetic problem of the thing. Notice why you rarely see the nunchuck in any of Nintendo's promotional material? That's because it's not exactly sexy. The Wii controller makes sense -- a remote everyone understands, and there's no stigma attached to it. How cool are you going to look waving around some wand with a string attached to it to another thing that looks like the garage door opener? Yeah, that's gaming for the masses right there. Way to go Nintendo.
