Wow, I must say, this Tech-Demo looks absolutley fantastic!
Imho this is visually one of the most impressive things ever done with the RPG-Maker.
However it is totally unpractical. If I look at most successful games (commercial or made with the RPG-Maker) they have a huge array of different enemies.
UiD for example had around 121 enemies, VD even 274 (according to the database). If your game wants to acheive a worthwhile length your looking at hundreds and hundreds of panoramas. There are over 100 battles you would have du turn into individual Panoramas and if you can battle the same Monster with different Partys, with different special attaks as they progress, it would ammount to an uncountable number of panoramas.
For one thing I could imagine you loosing interest in making these graphics after a while.
But much more important is the fact that your game will go beyond the scope of anything anybody can download.
If your game "only" is 1GB large, there are still many people like me who have download-limits imposed on them. Mine is 1,5 GB, so it would be impossible for me to download your finished game. Bisides the fact that it woul take forever to download it, even with DSL.
Oh, and the 2D Charakters is a 3D environment (Screen 2) look horrible imho.
Conclusion: Incredible looking BS that is simply to impractical to ever make it as a complete and finished game.
