Really nice looking game you got going here. Just remember that gameplay enjoyment thrumps style so don't go overboard with those elaborate forest locales because it should be humane to make as well.

I normally don't have a problem with rips. The ones used in Earthcraft is combined pretty well. But ripped images is anouther deal. A ripped image breaks the illusion of a fully created world so I wouldn't use one as a title screen.

So I drew one for fun. Maybe its a bit cartoony and doesn't match the overall unity impression of the game but you'll see what I mean.



Keep up the good work and don't become to pretentious, taking on too much can kill a project.
