Ups, übersehen. Es ist Track 5, der letzte. o.o

Edit: Ok, ich hab mich geirrt. Das Lied ist auf der Hoppípolla-Single als 3. Song oben. Da nun aber wirklich.

    65daysofstatic is back now.
We’ve been away making an album. Now we’ve made it.
It’s called ‘The Destruction of Small Ideas’ and it’ll be released on the 30th April on the awesome Monotreme Records in the UK, Europe and America. The album is coming out a week earlier in Japan on the excellent Zankyo Records, because everyone in Japan will be on holiday the week after.

    The tracklisting is this:

    1. When We Were Younger & Better
    2. A Failsafe
    3. Don't Go Down to Sorrow
    4. Wax Futures
    5. These Things You Can't Unlearn
    6. Lyonesse
    7. Music is Music as Devices are Kisses is Everything
    8. The Distant & Mechanised Glow of Eastern European Dance Parties
    9. Little Victories
    10. Primer
    11. White Peak/Dark Peak
    12. The Conspiracy of Seeds

    The Cover looks like this:

We tried to make it in a way that would retain it’s dynamic and make it listenable at many different volumes, like records used to be made before it became fashionable to COMPRESS THE FUCK OUT OF THEM, until they’re so loud they sound like a brick wall, but can capture the attention of the average radio listener faced with hours and hours of rubbish, by being that much louder than everything else. Instead we made this so the quiet bits are quiet and the loud bits are loud, and if you turn it up on your stereo you can hear everything in it’s own place. This being a learning experience for us, we had to trust our instincts, but we’re quite proud of what we came up with. Also, Graham and Murray who recorded it are GENII. PLURAL.

Before that comes out, though, ‘Don’t Go Down to Sorrow’ will be released as a single on April the 9th.

    The tracklisting is this:

    1. Don’t Go Down to Sorrow (Edit).
    2. Morning in the Knife Quarter.
    3. The Major Cities of the World are Being Destroyed One by One by the Monsters (skin of the horses teeth version).

    It looks like this:

A single is a promotional tool aimed primarily at radio stations, the music press and television, as a means of raising the awareness of a band. It's not really aimed at the people who buy it, unless you’re the kind of band who sells so many you make a lot of money. It is an excuse to go on tour. 65daysofstatic don’t really need an excuse to go on tour, because we’ll be doing that for the rest of the year. Cripes!

    In conclusion:

It’s been far too long since we were out on the road. We will rectify this shortly. The dates we have confirmed so far are up now. There are already quite a few dates there, and like a collection of past failures, they will be added to. Also, new photos from both the times we went to Japan are in the Pictures section of the Media link on this very website. The 65 Japanese Tour Diary (as serialised by Drowned in Sound), can be found in the Scribblings section. New t-shirts, new music, new tour dates, new everything, will follow shortly.

65 is officially GLAD TO BE BACK.
    Bin verdammt geil drauf.

DEVIN TOWNSEND To Release 'Ziltoid The Omniscient' Later In The Year - Mar. 1, 2007
STRAPPING YOUNG LAD mastermind Devin Townsend has changed the projected title of his next solo album to "Ziltoid the Omniscient" from the previously announced "The Mighty Masturbator". Devin described the material on the CD as a mix between STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND. The album, which will be released under the DEVIN TOWNSEND banner instead of THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND, will reportedly be recorded completely by Devin, who is expected to take care of the singing, guitar, bass, synthesizers and sampling duties, in addition to mixing and producing the CD on his own. Devin has stated on the Hevydevy forums that he is using "the drumkit from Hell" on this release, which was previously utilized by MESHUGGAH on "Catch Thirty-Three" and which was developed by MESHUGGAH's Tomas Haake.

Devin and his wife Tracy welcomed their first child, a boy named Reyner, on October 4, 2006.
    Nooooeees ;__; Kein Mighty Masturbator ;__;

hello 2 all that hold interest........you might be wondering what we have been up to lately.... if so, an explanation will follow.
we have been writing new songs and experiments for the last six months. some have been hung in the ear museum for display and some have been launched into outer space towards our nearest dwarf planets..... but the others that have missed the traps we set, have made their way into "title land".... here are some of the song titles that we have been working on.....

    "ireland"
    "hurricane felix"
    "pieces of gold"
    "wondrous miracle"
    "fleeing to mexico"
    "it's not worth it"
    "long days and vague clues"
    "2001"
    "fucking smile pt. 2"

there is also a concept in the works...something which we are all very excited about but unfortunately cannot share at this point...all i can say is....singk.

we will also be playing some shows in california in april...during these shows we will be demonstrating some new songs....so join us if you can.........
    thanks for the interest.....until soon.

Weiterer Tipp: Die Anarchistische Abendunterhaltung.

Habe dir trotzdem mal was rausgesucht. Nicht rabenschwarz, aber dennoch leicht düster und so richtig mindfucking.

Venetian Snares, aka Gonk the 8-legged Viking, is back with yet another record that sounds nothing like Boards of Canada! From the catchy title track opener "Pink + Green" which blends demented punk vocals with hyper-complex grooves and gut gurgling bass blasts you can just tell this is something fresh and funky from producer Aaron "funk" Funk. Not to worry though the sub-rattling low-end blasts and jackhammering hardcore anthems are still here and in full effect on tracks like "Sporto Fucking Sellout Cocksuckerface" and "Husikám Rave Dojo" that revisit the days of pilled out candy raving. This is cyberpunk at it's finest! Welcome to the interzone! If you hated albums like Winnipeg is a Frozen Shithole and Higgins Ultra Low Track Glue Funk Hits 1972-2006, you will hate this even more! 15 year old K-heads will love this shit! This is not some crybaby n00bcore bullshit, this is rave at it's roughest like only Mr.Snares can bring it. So buy this kickin' new ep so Snares can buy more laptops to make his untouchable "voice of a generation" breakcore cyber hits!. "Pink + Green" (CD) ships out on March 29, 2007 on Sublight. (12" vinyl version on Planet-Mu). Album Features amazing artwork by Arnold Steiner aka AS1 Projects.
