ich möchte ja jetzt nciht irgendwie arrogant oder so klingen, aber ist es zu viel verlangt, wenn ich ein bisschen...sagen wir mal Anerkennung anerkannt haben will?
Ich fände es wirklich nett den Thread festzumachen, von mir aus auch ins Rpg-Reich Forum zu verschieben und dort festzumachen, aber irgendwie würde ich gerne ähh.. "entlohnt" werden..
Und wie immer gilt: Wer was neues hört, was RPGs auf dem GCN betrifft, soll's sofort sagen!
auf www.gamefront.de gibt's übrigens neue Infos zum exklusiven Tales of symphonia.Das chara-design stammt hier wie bei Tales of Phantasia und Tales of Phantasia-Narakiri Dungeon von Kosuke Fujishima.

Hmmm ich bin am Überlegen ob ich Harvest Moon hinzufügen soll...aber dann müsste auch Animal Crossing dazu.. Was meint ihr?

Harvest Moon ist eher eine Simulation als ein RPG und Animal Crossing ein sog. Communication-Game.
Baldur's Gate 2 wurde nicht für den GameCube angekündigt!
Wenn FFC und Gauntlet dabei sind kann man auch noch Zelda TWW mit einfügen (zu Gauntled und Mystic Heroes) - das ist ein richtiges RPG geworden, mit guter Story und min. 8 NPCs (so viele sind mir gerade auf Anhieb eingefallen). Später rennt man sogar mit einer 2-Figuren-Party durch die Dungeons.
Außerdem kann man Link ja in gewisser Weise aufleveln (mit Herzteilen usw.)
Wenn du auch an jap. RPGs interessiert bist solltest du Battle Houshin noch in die Liste aufnehmen. Das hat zumindest RPG Elemente, ist wohl aber eher Action RPG orientiert. Nunja, wer weiß.Zitat

An Arundo: Battle Houshin ist in Europa erschienen als Mystic Heroes. Und das ist in der Liste enthalten.
Und wegen Zelda: Ich tus zu den Spielen mit RPG Elementen, auch wenn ich es als nicht so sinnvoll sehe, hier geht es ja eher um unbekannte Spiele...aber egal..

Es ist gelogen, dass Videogames Kids beeinflussen. Hätte Pacman das getan, würden wir heute durch dunkle Räume irren, Pillen fressen und elektronische Musik hören.

Custom Robot ist ein Powestone-mässiger Party Prügler bei dem man sich nur seine eigene Roboter bauen kann - kein RPG.
Gold Star Mountain ist das RPG an dem Camelot schon seit ewigkeiten Arbeitet, gab am Anfang zur ersten Ankündigung mal nen wenig Aussagekräftigen Screen und seitdem is funkstile.
Zanzarah ist ein PC RPG mit Pokemon anleihen, nur halt mit Fee´n wird jetzt afaik auf alle Konsolen geportet, also sollte dazu im PC Bereich viel zu finden sein, da es schon etwas älter ist.
Pokemon Box ist ein Verwaltungssystem für die Viecher der GBA-Editionen, nicht mehr oder weniger...es ist nicht einmal ein vollwertiges Spiel und mit RPG hat es nix am Hut.
Gladius ist einfach ein Prügler von Acclaim im alten Rom...erscheint für alle Plattformen und ist absolut kein RPG.
Zanzarah ist ein Adventure.Hat Ähnlichkeit mit Pokemon und ist seit 2002 für PC erhältlich.Elfen-Kämpfe aus der Ego-Perspektive.Soll auch für PS2 erscheinen.
Dokapon geht etwas zur freakigen Seite á la Giftpia...naja, ob Bokujou Monogatari/Harvest Moon, Giftpia und Dokapon DX RPGs sind lässt sich streiten...auf letzteres trifft es aber am ehesten zu.(und es wird zu 99% Japan nicht verlassen)
Was fehlt ist Segas Virtua Fighter Quest.Erscheint exklusiv für GCN und ist 'n RPG über Virtua Fighter, die Beat'em Up Serie.

The gang responsible for Skies of Arcadia is at it again. Recent reports have stated that Sega's OverWorks team is currently developing an RPG by the name of Knight N' Knight. This game is a sequel to the Sega Saturn's Clockwork Knight.
Unfortunately, the only available details regarding the new game are its name and the fact that it will appear on the Nintendo GameCube. No gameplay details or possible release dates were mentioned, and it remains uncertain whether or not the game will ever leave Japan.
X-men legacy:
Activision has just released new information on its upcoming Playstation 2 RPG, X-Men: Legacy. It is now confirmed that the comic-based title will hit not only Sony's console, but XBox and GameCube as well. It is expected to be released in 2004.
The game's plot will be written by veteran comic studio Man of Action. It begins with the saving of a young mutant (Magma), and evolves into a fight to unite mankind and mutants. According to Larry Goldberg, executive vice president, Activision Worldwide Studios, Legacy will "blend the best parts of the movies, comic books in a fantastic new adventure."
X-Men: Legacy will allow players to create teams of their favorite mutants. Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Gambit and Beast are among the 15 fan favorites playable. A four-player cooperative mode is also planned, where the new players can join at any time or battle it out in the "Danger Room."

Activision has finally released the first information on a game it announced over two years ago. The game is X-Men Legends and is an action-RPG following the exploits of the famous Marvel team. The gameplay of X-Men Legends will be centered around a team based combat system where various members of the X-Men will be able to be switched out on the fly and combo attacks will be possible between party members. Combat will normally use a combination of four Mutants, who will be selectable from some of the most popular figures throughout Marvel history including: Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Psylocke, Iceman, Gambit, Forge, Beast, Nightcrawler, Angel, and seven others who have not been listed.
Scheduled for release in Quarter 4 of 2003, X-Men Legends will be available for the PlayStation2, GameCube, and Xbox consoles.

4X Studios out of France is just the latest European outfit to announce it has an RPG in the works. Alongside JoWood's Gothic II, 4X's Times of Trouble will feature a delicate balance of RPG and action elements as it strives to break into the bourgeoning RPG market.
Players will follow the adventures of a young boy named Zak. As a child, Zak must deal with harsh political realities, as rival political groups with a penchant for violence seek to deal with the economic misfortune that plagues the fictional world of ToT, which is as yet unnamed. The game's battle system will be in real-time, and adhere to the modern standard of the three-character party. Other details on the game are scarce, but with one of the biggest times of the year approaching for game developers, more information may surface before too long.
4X has not announced any plans to release ToT in North America, although the possibility is good the game will make it across the Atlantic, given its scheduled wide release. Times of Trouble will appear on the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and the Xbox.

Welsper ist zwar schon etwas näher auf Tengai Makyou II-Manjimaru eingegangen aber,das Spiel ist ein remake der PC-Engine version.Bislang gefallen mir die Pics gut(hatte auch einen bericht in der AnimaniA darüber),und werde mir wohl Tengai Makyou auch für den GC kaufen,wird sich auch gut neben symphonia(Jp)samt Japanischen Cube machen.
Teil III,Tengai Makyou III-Namida kommt im Frühjahr(freu mich schon drauf).

Und könnte mir jemand sagen, warum der Thread nicht mehr festgemacht ist? Weil ich nicht mehr aktualisiert habe? Jedenfalls hätte ich ihn gerne fest, wenn die Moderatoren es wollen im RPG-Reich Forum, wo die Liste vielleicht auch besser aufgehoben ist...
Maybe weil das ein Konsolen und kein NIntendo Forum ist? Und man im Notfall auf die LIste verlinken kann.
Hier fährt irgendwo noch ein extrem gutes Import-Faq als Thread rum, welches für mehr Personen und auch generell interessanter ist, gepinnt ist es aber auch nicht.
