I just finished the demo today and the project was really a great pleasure to play through. The mini games are very well done and fit quiet perfectly in the entire experience. The role play elements are also very refreshing and all the features you added like the sprinting or the encounter system simply add up to an overall unique game.
Still there are some minor flaws I stumbled upon. On the world map i.e. was a certain battle background with a tree that is displayed below the enemy. In the burning church is even an entirely wrong battle background in one fight that displays an outdoor scenario. Especially on the world map it sometimes happens that enemies spawn right in front of you which leads instantly into a fight. But the entire idea of using visible enemies should be the possibility of avoiding fights at any time, right? And one thing that really bummed me out was that enemies sometimes spawn in doors or cave entrances which means that the money they are dropping can’t be picked up as you will be teleported to the next map when you try to collect it. It would be very cool if you could find a way to avoid this.
But as said these are just some minor issues and the overall experience of playing your unfortunately way to short demo was a hell of a lot enjoyable. I’m really looking forward to all the next chapters ^__^ Until then keep up the good work!
