Bin ja mal gespannt, in welche Richtung das neue Album gehen wird. Ich hoffe mal wieder weg vom CwA Stil und eher wieder in Richtung El Cielo. Gegen ein wenig Leitmotif im neuen Album hätte ich aber auch nichts. :p

Kann ich so eigentlich gar nicht unterschreiben, da imo jedes der 3 Studio-Alben geniale Tracks hatte, die ich auf keinen Fall missen möchte. Darum hoffe ich, dass es einfach wieder ein dredg-Album wird.

Ich stimme Lucian zu; so schlimm war Catch Without Arms gar nicht, wie es manche totreden. Ich fands gleichwertig mit den anderen zwei Alben.

So, the album is finished.
Is it good? I don't know, and I'm not sure any of us do. Will we ever? Probably not.
We mastered on the 15th; time zones and their contempories are hard to follow these days but hopefully that is some help. Tonight we watched Pelican and said goodbye to our Seattle friends. Special thanks must go to Matt Bayles (will anyone else ever care that much about hi-hats?) and Fernando (will anyone else ever care so much about drink/girls?).
This record has been a serious ordeal: I can't believe we have had the opportunity to do what we want and take the time to do it; what a process. It has taken my life and I am looking forward to letting go of it. I will listen to the album on the plane tomorrow and hopefully my happiness will be enough for a few weeks.

K.I.Z gestern in kreuzberg. "reclaim your U-Bahn", wurde nach einiger zeit von den netten herren in grün aufgelöst, aber was solls....sehr sehr geile aktion definitiv. sollte es öfter geben.

vor allem "was willst du machen" anzustimmen, sobald die polizeikamera auf sie gerichtet ist :D

On top of that The End Records - withdraw the license money from the last album, took all the merch money and the CD's to cover their own losses. What The End Records had to gain from sending the band across the world, driving across the continent of America twice, just to come to a town where the local promoter haven’t been seen around for the last 4 months, or arrive at clubs that don’t even know you are coming, to clubs where the local promoter put up another show because the booking agent never replied to their booking confirmation so instead they went ahead and booked other tours on the same date.

In the end, it made the band members avoid live situations, tours and business partners. The band members felt they had little or nothing to give anymore, and I don’t blame them. I saw where we were heading and it wasn’t where we wanted to be at, so instead of ending up with a mediocre album, we decided to call it the quits after the most spectacular release we have produced so far; A Night Under the Dam on DVD.

Tchort will continue writing music under the name Green Carnation, but probably will never play live again with the band."

Das neue Interpol-Album ist doch mal sowas von großartig. Zudem die live sowieso nicht so viel aus Our Love To Admire spielen, Heinrich Maneuver wahrscheinlich, Pioneer To The Falls und vielleicht noch No I In Threesome. Die Editors gehen klar, aber gegen Interpol sehen sie keine Sonne. ._.

sag nein zu den editors - ich weiß nich womit ihr hype begründet ist, weil ihre musik stark scheisse finde, aber egal ^^

ich geh zu interpol, die sind im november auch en hamburgo - da fällt mir die wahl ehrlich gesagt nich schwer :D maximo parkl sind nich schlecht, editors schawul - da bleibt nur interpol als geile band :D

überlege auch zu interpol zu gehn... können ja zusammen hin wenn ich mich dafür entscheide @ hamburg
