Das Album finde ich etwas durchwachsen... Vermicide hätte man sich sparen können (nagut, langsam geht's ^^), Tetragrammaton hat einen mieserablen Anfang und z.T. bescheuerte Tonleiterrunterleierbreaks. Insgesamt haben TMV im Vergleich zu FTM sehr viel an Tiefe und Dramatik verloren und sich von ihrem total abgefahrenen Sound ab- und etwas konformerem Rock- und Jazz-Feeling zugewandt. Aber grad die Jazz-Parts machen mir grossen Spass. Das Saxophon ist sowieso sehr geil, ebenso die Orgel.
Eigentlich finde ich es ab Track 4 ziemlich geil und 1 ist auch toll. Besonders angetan haben's mir Viscera Eyes (fast schon gewöhnlicher, aber geiler Groove und die Gitarren am Anfang erinnern wunderbar an Weather Report) und Day of the Baphomets (Der Anfang ist einfach nur göttlich, erst dieser virtuose Basspart, dann die kreischenden Gitarren mit dem Sax-Solo darüber usw....)
Was es an der Produktion zu bemängeln gibt: Die Drums sind zu leise (hat Omar wohl Jon gefeuert, weil er zu leise gespielt hat?). Aber wenigstens ist es besser abgemischt als Scabdates. brrr...
Weiß einer, warum ich erst jetzt mitgekriegt habe, dass Prodigy Ende dieses / Anfang nächsten Jahres ein wirklich neues Album raushauen wollen? Hatte irgendwie im Kopf rumschwirren, dass Keith und Maxim nur noch Bock auf Solo haben. Egal.

Dort gibt's neben alten Filmen und co. massenweise Live-Bootlegs, auch (Oder vor allem? Kann ich nicht sagen) von eher unbekannten und sich abseits der allgemeinen Bekanntheit befindenden Bands. Ich saug mir da jedenfalls nach dem Pelican- und dem Mogwai-Bootleg erstmal ein Blood-Brothers-Livealbum. :O

All right,here's the scoop. Mike and the boys in DT have been in the studio for a month already and half of the album is done! So expect the new album to be out in April/May of 2007 with a summer tour to follow. He's also planning on doing another side project but it won't be a prog,classic rock,or tribute project,it'll be a METAL project. He always wanted to do one but always got side tracked. He plans on doing this project with members of Opeth and Porcupine Tree but that's still in the talk process. If u remember Mike had a little feud with Geoff Tate and that's now "water under the bridge." Whatever was said between them was just blown out of proportion so they're cool with each other. They would love to tour with each other again,hope it happens. That's all for DT.

sigur rós have begun recording their new album and expect to finish it later this year. in an interview with fréttablaðið newspaper, georg says it remains to be seen whether the band will be taking a totally new direction on the album. “we have finished recording a few songs but some more things need to be done. we don’t know exactly where the album is heading yet. we are really just experimenting at this stage. some of the songs we recorded are old songs which we had written a while ago, unreleased material which we never got a chance to finish. we decided it was time they were recorded.” georg says there is a possibility the album will be released this year but nothing is confirmed at this point.
