The Story:
Guarniccia goes on a beautiful day through the small city, where he lives, as his boss calls him to drive to the Boboli Garden.
He finds a person in a well(Brunnen), she hasn’t a face because the fish ate it. It is a murder.
Next to the death person he finds a handbag, with some important papers, but this papers doesn’t belong to the death person. An other women found the death body and was so upset, that she run away and forgot her handbag and called the police.
The boss from Guarniccia tells him, that he has to solve this case.
She shoes from the death person comes from a Peruzzis shoes shop, he decides to visit him. Peruzzi tells Guarniccia that the shoe belongs to his Japanese trainee Akiko, she has talent he Peruzzi wants to make Akiko to the new boss also he gets to know, that Akiko had a unknown friend and she has to get a baby. They had quarrel. He finds out from different people that she has been engaged with Esposito, his assistant. Akiko refused to marry him, because it was afraid to be bound once more. As a main suspect Guarniccia allows to observe Esposito from Lorenzini. Few days later Esposito is found dead, he has committed suicide. Guarniccia cannot believe it that Esposito Akiko should have killed. He tries to find an alibi for him. So he goes back to Peruzzi, he tells him, that he saw Akiko the last time as she went to the bank. In the bank he gets to know that Peruzzi had many deps. After a short time he goes to Peruzzis son, he tells him, that he hates his father, because he had a bad financial life in his childhood. He kills Akiko, too.
Nobody get to know, why he killed Akiko and how.
