Enttäuscht: Jain... Die Anmerkung auf das Aktionärstreffen Ende Juni tröstet über die nicht getätigten Ankündigungen weg... ich hoffe halt dann dort einiges an neuem Material zu sehen (und seien es nur wenige FF12 Artworks...)

Die Strategien sind allerdings wirklich interessant. Schön zu sehen, dass Europa nun etwas wichtiger für SE ist - und Wadas DQ8 Gespräch sehe ich als Versprechen, endlich einen richtigen Dragon Quest Teil in Europa zu bekommen

With regards to Dragon Quest VIII, Wada commented "It will be different from the titles you saw in the series up through Dragon Quest VII. We believe it to be a title that can be promoted overseas." So for those Dragon Quest fans worried that Japan's biggest series would continue to get the shaft overseas, worry no more. Mr. Wada is taking care of you. So too is Mr. Honda (Keji Honda, Square Enix's vice president), who said "Right now, in Europe and America, Japanese comics and animation are receiving critical acclaim. Also, works from Toriyama Akira, the game's (Dragon Quest VIII) character designer, are very popular. With that in mind, this is certainly a title with much potential. Of course, the way we promote the game is important."

Vor allem der letzte Satz! Gut, dass SE erkannt hat, dass man die Spiele auch ordentlich promoten soll... eine kleine Werbekampagne mit "The Game designed by Dragonball Z author Akira Toriyama" und DQ7 hätte doppelt soviel Umsatz gemacht .

Gespannt bin ich bezüglich den noch nicht angekündigten Spielen (besonders für GBA und PS2...), und weiterhin gespannt, welche GBA Spiele nach Amerika und Europa kommen (v.a. ob FFTactics Advance dabei ist... DQMH wurde ja kürzlich auf der E3 mehr oder weniger ausgeschlossen - schade eigentlich, denn gerade der Teil hätte einiges versprochen, vor allem wäre er mehr ein DQ als ein DQM Spiel)
