Actually, the word "angst" does exist in the English language. It's one of the rare germanisms they adopted from us (like kindergarten oder rucksack). Its meaning however is slightly different from the German counterpart since "angst" in English doesn't mean just fear but more something like "to be scared halfway to death" … it therefore is a quite strong expression.
I've never heard an adjective made out of it, though.
