In other news...

Capcom has signed a formal agreement with Japanese film distributor Gaga Communications for the production of a movie based on their popular action game series "Devil May Cry." Gaga Communications, which previously coordinated the production of the film "Resident Evil," are also currently working on the celluloid adaptation of "Onimusha."

According to a Gaga Communications spokesperson, the production budget for "Devil May Cry" has been set at $40 million (5 billion yen). The company is currently in talks with several Hollywood studios regarding production staff, casting, and distribution in America and Europe. Filming is tentatively scheduled to begin in early 2005 though a projected release date hasn't been decided.

Great. Die selbe Firma wie Resident Evil, also wird ein weiteres Spiel als Film versaut werden und meine Hoffnungen entweder Johnny Depp oder Guy Pearce als Dante zu sehen gehen dahin.
