The game takes place in 2080. They want to make a world, whole different world that interacts with the characters.
The engine is not built up yet, the are getting to it. The graphics will be much better when release. They will use parallel mapping, AF, Anirof filtering etc...
They will take advantage of Blu-Ray and make the world endless.
You can use 4 characters and the battle will be realtime.
The trailer was rendered in realtime.
Last thing, I asked him "when will Final Fantasy be really Final Fantasy?"
He laughs and says "we will see".
He also added, this game will be very different and will really suprise all of you in a good way.
