Hat Sephiroth das nicht sogar im Spiel erklärt (als er unten die Bücher gelesen hat, oder so), dass die Cetra eine Art Nomadenvolk waren, die auf der Welt umhergewandert sind (wo sollte man sie da also geographisch zuordnen) und dass jene, die sich niedergelassen haben und, um meinen Vorredner mal aufzugreifen, von der Lebensweise abgelassen haben und langfristig die Gabe, zum Planeten zu sprechen verloren haben, die Menschen sind?

Ah, hab's. Genauso war es - hier Sephis Erklärung (leider nur auf Englisch) - kommt in der Rückblende von Cloud in Kalm vor:
Sephiroth
"You ignorant traitor. I'll tell you."

(He faces the wall.)

Sephiroth
"This Planet originally belonged to the Cetra. Cetra was a itinerant race. They would migrate in, settle the Planet, then move on..."
"At the end of their harsh, hard journey, they would find the Promised Land and supreme happiness."

(He turns to Cloud.)

Sephiroth
"But, those that disliked the journey appeared. Those who stopped their migrations built shelters and elected to lead an easier life."
"They took that which the Cetra and the planet had made without giving one whit in return!"

(He looks down.)

Sephiroth
"Those are your ancestors."

Cloud
"Sephiroth..."

Sephiroth
"Long ago, disaster struck this planet."

(He looks up and walks to another spot, facing the wall.)

Sephiroth
"Your ancestors escaped... They survived because they hid."
"The Planet was saved by sacrificing the Cetra. After that, your ancestors continued to increase."


In dem Video sagt Ifalna übrigens:
"The first ones to discover the Planet's wound were the Cetra at the Knowlespole."
"Die ersten, die die Wunde des Planeten entdeckten, waren die Cetra am Nordpol!" (oder wie der Ort auch immer in der dt. Fassung heißt), was bedeutet, dass es 'einige' Cetra gab, die dort lebten und die Wunde entdeckten - nicht aber, dass die Cetra NUR dort lebten.
