    Ich erlaub mir mal nen Doppelpost. Hab auf GameFAQs grad nen Post bzgl. dem Weapon Synth System gemacht, was vielleicht den ein oder anderen auch hier interessiert (Englisch):

    Aside from some special combinations which are noted in Mazel's Gamanotes, weapon synthing works like this:

    A1 A2 A3 A4 A5

    The numbers are the weapon rank while the letters are the weapon type. A1 is the weakest, the bottom right one the strongest (regular) weapon. Usually, A1 is a level 1 weapon while the bottom right one is level 39 or 40.
    A weapon fused with a Hyper Crystal will gain 1 rank (A2 => A3), a weapon fused with an Omega Star will evolve into a new type (i.e. A1 => B1). Lastly, there's this very rare Excelion no Kakera, which works as Hyper Crystal and Omega Star combined (i.e. B2 => C3).

    Whenever you fuse a weapon with a weaker one, the latter works as Hyper Crystal (darn myself for not figuring that out until I wasted almost all Hyper Crystals I had...). For example, synth F1 with A3 and you get F2.

    The game warns you when your mix would result in a weapon that cannot be synthed anymore, for example the final level 40 weapon.

    That's about all there is to know. There are some special combinations which require mostly unique weapons such as the Shichiseiken Desert Seeker, which can be upgraded to Desert Seeker II, Desert Seeker III and finally Earth Shaker. Those are the combinations that get noted in the Gamanotes.
