Avenger shoot 'em up - looking for sources

It's a bit slow because Screen Movie Studio, and the picture is crap because Movie Maker, but I hope you can see my current project.
Yet I'm using this graphic, because I couldn't find better. Does anyone have good panoramas or ship graphics for a space shooter? The ships size has no limit, because I'm using pictures, but 40x40 can be the best I think. The panoramas yet 320x240, but can be bigger.

There aren't many ressources for shooters on rpg maker sites.. you could check out other developing-utility sites ala Gamemaker etc..

Or you could pick some games and rip the gfx yourself. It's relatively easy and fast if you've gotten the hang of it.

I would recommend SNES and Mega Drive Shooters ala Thunder Force or Axelay.
