The same is true of the Castlevania fan's holiest of grails, a classic Symphony-style 2D platformer with high-resolution hand-drawn art -- which, unfortunately, may never happen.
"I hear what you are asking!" Igarashi says. "I would love to be able to create a game like that, and I've even experimented a bit with the idea. Unfortunately, it's technically very challenging and labor-intensive due to the amount of art that must be created. Our tests made us realize that the ratio of cost to performance was not feasible. But if someone will give us the money to do it, we would love the opportunity!"
