[Important Update Details]
-Incorrect color display issue for Sleepga and SleepgaII in the auction house has been fixed.
-Issues regarding self-inflicting special attack damages on certain pets and summoned monsters are fixed.
-Synthesizing problem for specific items has been fixed.
-Problem regarding level limit battles, in which monsters attacked those players whose levels are not limited for level limit battles, has been fixed.

Mal nebenbei gefragt, Maintenance ist seit 20 Minuen laut Schedule vorbei, kommt ihr schon wieder drauf ?

Ich hab schon das Mini-Update gezogen, aber beim Connecten kommt "Could not connect to lobby server".

November-December Announcements

The November-December Announcements have arrived!

Einige Änderungen durch das Dezember Update:

• Das Level Cap wird auf Level 75 erhöht und das dazugehörige Quest wird eingebaut
• Chocobos wird man ab Level 15 reiten können
• Ein Teil der Limbo Areas wird eingefügt (Limbo ist für High Level Charakere, der Zugang ist nur unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen gestattet)
• Weapon-Skill Quest wird eingefügt
• Neue Items werden verfügbar sein
• Neue Notorious Monster werden eingebaut
• Änderungen im Force System und dazu neue Gebiete und Monster im Force System
• Die Thief Ability "Sneak Attack" wird modifiziert, der Charakter muss nun direkt am Monster stehen um Sneak Attack erfolgreich auszuführen
• Cure 5 wird nur noch von White Mages benutzt werden können
• Das Level Cap für Crafting Skills wird auf 100 erhöht
• Neue Craftingrezepte für alle Guilds
• Rank 9 Conquest Items werden verfügbar sein
• Einige Änderungen in den AH Kategorien

zu den chocbobo-quest ab lvl. 15 ist noch zu sagen, dass die reit-dauer aber wesentlich geringer sein wird, als mit lvl. 20.
steht aber auch in den ankuedigungen im developers room.

On the Use of "Speedhack" Third-Party Tools

We have recently confirmed that it is possible to make characters in FINAL FANTASY XI move faster than intended by using certain other software applications.

Whether intentional or not, it is a violation of the PlayOnline User Agreements and Policies to use any program other than those offered or approved by Square-Enix USA, Inc. or to exit and misuse the game system from the outside. Such violations are punishable by account cancellation, and we ask that all users refrain from this kind of behavior. Also in accordance with our policies, users whose accounts are cancelled in this manner are prohibited from any and all subsequent use of the PlayOnline service.

Currently, a solution designed to stop such behavior at its source is under research and development. However, we are still conducting investigations into unusual gamplay behavior, and anyone caught using any illegal third-party application will be subject to punishment, even if they are unaware such applications are running or are not allowed.

If you believe your character is moving at unusually accelerated speeds, please stop all related applications or devices that may be affecting gameplay. If the situation does not change, please petition a GM.

If you should spot another player moving in a strange fashion, unless that player's actions are directly impeding your use of FINAL FANTASY XI, it is not necessary to petition a GM about the situation.

We thank you for your cooperation in helping us to ensure fair, balanced, quality gameplay.

Notice regarding World Emigration(12/1)

We are happy to announce the arrival of a new
world for the World Emigration requests gathered
between 11/21/2003 and 11/30/2003!

*Number of Worlds: 1 (Name: Asura)

Since only one World has been designated, all
characters that submitted a World Emigration
request will be transferred to Asura.

We will not be extending the deadline for requests,
and will be conducting World Emigration as per the
date noted below. We ask that those players who
are to be transferred make sure they remove all
items from the Auction house(s) or their Delivery Box.

[World Emigration details]

Regarding date of transfer.
Transfer date and time: 12/8/2003 9:00

World Emigration will coincide with the server
maintenance which will occur on the same day.
Following the maintenance, characters that the
players designated will be transferred to the
designated world.

*Important! Things to watch out for when
Emigrating.

We ask that players whose characters are to be
transferred do the following:

-Regarding character names:
Certain players may have to rename their
characters if their characters' name already exists.
There is no way to know beforehand whether or
not you will have to change your characters'
name. Additionally, after the deadline has passed
you can not cancel. If your characters' name
requires changing, your characters' name will be
highlighted in yellow in the character selection
screen following login. Changing your characters'
name, however, will not destroy your friend list,
or related data.

*Regarding items in the Delivery Box, or stored in
Auction Houses

Any items that are stored in Auction Houses or
the Delivery box will be destroyed at time of
transfer. We ask that you make sure to remove
such items and either store them on your
character, or inside your Mog safebox.

*Regarding used Linkshells

Linkpearls/sacks can not be transferred over
and will be destroyed in the process. However,
the Linkshell owner will instead receive a new
Linkshell upon arrival at the new world.

-After the Linkshell owner arrives in the new
world, he/she will find that the Linkshell that
he/she was using will have disappeared.
However, there will be a new Linkshell in its
stead. You do not need to do anything special in
order to exchange your new Linkshell.
