@Ifrit Die beiden Gedichte gefallen mir sehr gut.

Untiteld
How time passes by,
yesterday I wailed feebly in your arms,
a newborn to the world.
Today fleeing from your embrace,
a child ready to explore the world …
And tomorrow wishing your warmth would cover me once more.
Suddenly a woman lost in the world.
I wish I could turn back time,
make the things undone,
I did to you.
Take back the words,
I flung at you in anger …
At last be the daughter I never was.
I feel so alone,
losing my grip on the world I don’t understand.
Mother, there’s so much left you must teach me,
so much left undone, unspoken.
Your weakness like a whiplash,
leaving raw wounds in my soul,
just wishing I could turn away,
from your thin arms who hold me in a severe embrace.
Every day you grow weaker,
every day another part of me dies.
The Child fades and vanishes,
killing all that made me be.
Mother, who will teach me to be
child once again,
when you’re gone?

Koma
It hurts me to see you like this.
Lying there in endless torture.
Your thoughts already in another World,
leaving me alone with this pain.
These bare, white rooms will be your grave.
You’ll never see the sun again.
I wish I could cease your pain,
but only Death can grant you this wish now.
Your body violated,
your will broken,
by those machines,
which keep you on the border of sanity.
And there are days,
where you say there is nothing worth fighting for,
that Death is more than welcome.
But what about us, mother?
Are we nothing to you?
Just like you, we suffer …
It hurts to see you fight a loosing battle,
that we cannot aid you in your darkest hour,
that in the end your is struggle in vain.
How shall we live without you?
You were so much to us,
Mother, daughter, friend and wife.
No one will ever be able to fill the gap,
you leave in our hearts, in our souls.
