In announcing their financial earnings and abandonment of the GameCube yesterday, Eidos also said they would not be working with Free Radical Design On Timesplitters 3, for reasons unknown -- though one can bet it has something to do with their departure from Nintendo, as Timesplitters 2 for the GameCube has sold very well thus far. Being that they do own the rights to the game, which is unusual for a small, independent developer, Free Radical has time to search for a new publisher who will -- more likely than not -- call for a GameCube version.
