His neatly trimmed silver hair and feminine face emit an atmosphere that makes him to approach.

His major is researching and developing “Orbal Drones” that use the new Xipha standard artificial intelligence, but he also helps out in the physical and bio engineering labs, and has a strong attachment to the observatory, which is the symbol of the university.

Due to certain circumstance as a child, he was adopted by Dr. Latoya Hamilton, “the mother of Orbal Revolution,” and as since cared for like his own grandmother and aspires to become a researcher himself.

Langport, the Shining Capital

A massive port city facing the south sea, also called Naju, located in South Calvard.

Langport’s scale is larger than Crossbell, the city of trade, and Ordice, the ocean capital, and in recent years has been often referred to as being “the second heart of the Republic” that symbolizes diversity.

Other than its business and shopping districts that house modern skyscrapers, it also has the largest Easterner Quarter in the continent, and is known as the “Shining Capital” due to its beautiful, glimmering night skyline.

Basel, the Industrial City

A city southwest of Calvard focused on industry and academics.

Basel has long been known for its history in natural scientific research, and is home to Basel Science University, which boasts its own observatory. In the Middle Ages, there was a craftsmen’s guild that helped forge machinery and equipment for architecture, irrigation, industry, and academics.

After the Orbal Revolution, the craftsmen’s guild and university joined forces to form the Verne Industrial Company.

A joint city planning project is in place to make the city a high-tech industrial academic city, such as connecting districts on different levels with a ropeway, while maintaining its beautiful landscape.

A total securities company headquartered in Ored, as well as a PMC (private military company).

Founded around 10 years ago, the company initially offered security services all around the continent, but in recent years has expanded its services.

It has also advanced into the field of military operations.

However, unlike bracers, it often offers plans that just barely manages not violate the laws of its operating country, thus many large companies that do not want to take risks of their own hire them for high prices.

Verne Industrial Company

A large technology manufacturer which headquartered in the engineering city Basel.

It is often compared to the Empire’s Reinford Group, but due to its industry-academic nature, its footwork is relatively low and it takes a multilateral and polished development approach through an academic lens.

During the Orbal Revolution 50 years ago, Latoya Hamilton, one of the three pupils of Professor Epstein—the inventor of Orbal Gear—brought back the technology and became the advisor of the company.

After succeeding in developing the first orbal car in the continent, Verne Industrial Company invested its research in developing advanced technologies such as orbal photos and orbal video to record footage from astronomical telescopes.

It was also a catalyst for the creation of other cultures unique to the Republic such as “Orbal Cinema,” which combines video technology and popular culture.

Xipha

The new sixth generation tactical orbment, Xipha, deploys pieces of ether known as “Shards” around its user and enables them to manipulate them to activate various functions.

The Xipha also has several new features that enhance the players abilities, including “Hollow Cores,” which change the overall performance of the Xipha; “Arts Drivers,” which install various orbal magic; and “Shard Skills,” which activate according to the amount of quartz.


Voice Assist: Make Battles Even Smoother

The artificial intelligence-equipped Hollow Core is loaded with a navigator that supports Xipha users with voice-based guidance in various situations, such as in battle, on the field, and during quests.

In addition to the voice and speech style adjusting according to the type of Hollow Core, the Hollow Core shows a more human response to the user.

Hollow Cores may also join in on the conversation.


Arts Driver: Custom Slots

Separate from the pre-installed arts sets, the Arts Driver also has custom slots. By setting arts into these slots, you can make up for a lack of recovery or support arts, or install more powerful attack arts.

Shard Skills: Special Effects Activated by the Line’s Elemental Powers

Hollow Cores have four “linesL that you can slot quartz to: weapon, shield, drive, and EXTRA. Depending on the elemental powers of the quartz slotted to these lines, shards will deploy that activate various special effects in battle.

Weapon Line – The line connected to attack functions such as additional elemental damage or effects.
Shield Line – The line connected to defense functions such as damage reduction, elemental resistance effects, and counterattacks.
Drive Line – The line connected to arts strengthening functions such as increased casting speed and increased elemental power.
EXTRA Line – The line connected to unique functions that do not fall in the categories of Weapon, Shield, or Drive.


Advanced Shard Skills

The types and threshold of elemental power required to activate Shard Skills are determined by their performance. By setting your Xipha while keeping in mind the elemental power of each quartz you set, you can activate more advanced Shard Skills in battle.

Bin ja mal gespannt ob diese Änderungen am Orbment System ordentlich geblanced werden oder ob man das Kampfsystem damit wieder sehr leicht kaputt machen kann Da es keine Brave Orders mehr gibt und scheinbar auch keine sekundären Master Quartze haben sie aber zumindest ein paar Elemente entfernt die fürs Balancing problematisch sein könnten.

Auch das passiert. Cold Steel 1 hat eine Zeitung pro Kapitel. Außer in einem, da sind es zwei. Ohne Grund.

Trails ist einfach nicht sonderlich gut mit der ganzen Sache. Das ganze Tausch Ding ist auch was man leicht verpasst, da man ein eigentlich nutzloses Item random kaufen muss.

Ja, seit Zero no Kiseki schaue ich auch regelmäßig wieder in den Läden vorbei, daher habe ich in Cold Steel 1 nichts verpasst. Und was Gegenstände angeht kaufe ich sowieso immer alles bei dem "Part of a set" dabeisteht.

Und versucht den Protagonisten bei jeder sich bietenden Gelegenheit in Verlegenheit zu bringen. "I will do anything--anything--that you so desire." / "If you ever need me, just call out my name in your heart."

Wahrscheinlich steht auf dem Papier dann so was wie, dass die Stadt ~400.000 Einwohner hat und in der Realität besteht sie wie Heimdallr aus einer langgezogenen Straße, bei der man eine Fläche von ungefähr 5% selbst betreten kann und der Rest Kulisse ist (und einigen abgetrennten Gebieten zu denen man sich nur hinteleportieren kann).^^

Ist halt der erste Teil einer neuen Serie oder um es in Trails-Sprache auszudrücken: "Ein verlängertes Tutorial."
Wenn die Serie mich eines gelehrt hat, dann dass Elemente des Kampfes und der Fähigkeiten nur aus dem Grund entfernt werden, um sie im entsprechenden Nachfolger wieder zu implementieren, zusammen mit einer ganzen Reihe weiterer überpowerter Zusatzfähigkeiten.^^'

Judith Ranster (22 Jahre alt)

A muscular, one-eyed man who is a master of the “Kunlun Style,” one of the three great Eastern martial arts, and has many students across the continent.

He used to travel the continent of Zemuria for work, but has since retired and abandoned his real name to enjoy travelling and living his life the way he desires to.

To Van, he was the mentor who taught him proper martial arts. Bergard never stopped Van from becoming a fixer either.

Later on, during the conflict between the Empire and the Republic, Van heard that Bergard died after being involved in a certain incident, but…

Weiß gerade nicht ob den ich den schon kennen sollte, weil auf Twitter auch ein Flashback Screenshot mit einem ähnlich aussehenden Kerl gezeigt wurde der mir allerdings gerade nichts sagt.
Abgesehen von seiner Haarfarbe sieht er Sigmund aber zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Zusammen mit dieser Schauspielerin also noch mehr das mich an die Crossbell Spiele erinnert

Falls dieser alte Mann tatsächlich ein wiederkehrender, toter Charakter ist, dann hoffe ich aber dass sie es bei diesem einen Retcon belassen und nicht den selben Fehler wie in Cold Steel 3 und 4 machen und lauter Fakeout Tode einbauen die nachträglich einige der besten Storymomente ruinieren.

• Kuro soll viele Geheimnisse ans Licht bringen und dient als Anfang der zweiten Hälfte der Kiseki Reihe.
• Das Script ist länger als das von Hajimari, aber das sollte vermutlich niemanden überraschen.
• Es wird vermutlich noch ein Sequel geben, aber was anderes hätte mich auch gewundert.
• Je nachdem wie man sich verhält soll es gute und böse Szenarien geben.
• Es wurde erneut geteased dass Bergard jemand ist den man vermutlich schon kennt.
• Die neue Engine soll es einfacher machen die Spiele zu lokalisieren.
• Es wurde bestätigt dass es keine Ladebildschirme beim Betreten von Gebäuden gibt.

Known as the “Sword Maiden,” she is an elegant and dignified beauty with hazel blond hair that streams in the wind. She is often featured in the news in the Republic, and while she has even received offers to become a model or actress, she is persistently sticking to her path as a bracer.

She chose to become a bracer after graduating from a prestigious school, and having a fondness for traditional swordsmanship, achieved remarkable results both at home and abroad. She was granted the qualifications to become an A-rank bracer by Guild Headquarters at the young age of 23.

Then Van, her old childhood friend with whom she spent her school days, returned to the capital city Edith and started work that might cause friction with the Guild, which worried her, but….

Rene Kincaid (25 Jahre alt)

An agent and assistant who works for the Integrated Analysis Office of the CID (Central Intelligence Department).

Under the supervision of his capable superiors, he has been able to handle himself well in a department divided by the president’s aim, while dealing with a vast number of matters on a daily basis, and reliably gathering information and conducting operations at the local level.

He leaves a stylish and competent impression with his well-ordered suit, which is complimented by his glasses. He has many female colleagues who admire his smooth working demeanor.

Shocked, but convinced that his childhood friend Van has started working as a Spriggan, he and Van do not hesitate to take advantage of each other’s positions.

But on the other hand, when their childhood friend Elaine decided to join the Guild in her school days, Rene was the only one to support her, and acknowledges her work as a bracer even after becoming an analyst for the CID.

L.G.C. Alignment

The Law, Gray, and Chaos values set for protagonist Van will fluctuate as you progress through the main story and quests.

Other than some of Van’s stats changing depending on these values, there will also be changes in the story’s developments and the Spriggan’s allies and adversaries from the middle of the story onward.

With a high Law value, you can fight alongside official organizations such as the Bracer Guild, but what will happen if you have high Gray or Chaos values…?
