Positiv finde ich, dass viele der Hauptakteure 20+ sind und somit die Charaktere einen gewissen Reifegrad haben der sich in den Dialogen und restlichen Verhalten bemerkbar machen sollte.

Ich hoffe dass mit dieser Spriggan-Thematik der Idealismus und das naive Gebrabbel etwas zurückgefahren werden, denn was Klasse 7 in Cold Steel 2 da von sich gegeben hat war stellenweise eine echte Tortur.

Wenn das so weiter geht sind alle wichtigen Charaktere des Spiels bekannt bevor Kuro überhaupt erscheint!

Zin Vathek (36 Jahre alt)

A semi S-rank bracer who crowns the nickname “Immovable” and acts as a leader of the Calvard Bracer Guild.

He is a large Eastern man as tall as two arges, as well as a master of Taito style martial arts, which is one of the three major Eastern martial arts.

He contributed to the resolution of the “Liberl Phenomenon,” “D.:.G Cult Incident,” and many other major incidents, and acted as a core member of alliance operations in the World War two years ago.

His actions led to an immediate ceasefire, which led him to be recommended to be promoted to S-rank, but he declined and remains semi S-rank for the time being.

While tensions between fellow students continue—with his junior Taito style disciple occupying a key position in the CID, and senior disciple maintaining an eerie silence at the Ouroboros society—he has high hopes for promising junior bracer Elaine and watches over her growth, but she can be stubborn at times.

Fie Claussell (20 Jahre alt)

A B-rank bracer from the Imperial Bracer Guild with the nickname “Sylphid.”

She comes from the Empire in response to the increasing number of issues within the Republic both small and large to help solve the shortage of manpower.

During her youth she acted as a jaeger in the jaeger corps Zephyr and has excellent physical and combat skills.

While she has a cool atmosphere around her, she can be surprisingly friendly, and often throws jokes at Elaine, her honors student-esque senior bracer.

Shizuna Rem Misurugi (23 Jahre alt)

The lieutenant captain of “Ikaruga,” a samurai group headquartered somewhere in the continent’s ruined east.

While she has a playful atmosphere and dazzling looks, she is also known as “Divine Blade of Silver” and is a master of the “Black God One Blade.”

She usually wears the latest power suit and wields a jet black odachi that has been passed down in the east as a “treasured sword.”

While her face may retain the innocence of a young woman, her expression changes into one that befitting of the name “Divine Blade” when she encounters a strong opponent.

Her fighting style resembles the Eight Leaves One Blade style, the magna opus of Eastern swordsmanship that “Sword Hermit” Yun Ka-fai developed, but….

Ikaruga

A mysterious samurai group that sets their headquarters somewhere in the ruined Eastern regions of the continent.

Their combat skills are said to be the strongest in the Eastern region, and has many skilled members who use odachi swords, which have been passed down in the far East region.

They also use the newest weaponry and has a stealth operations unit known as “Shinobi.”

The stealth techniques they use are of the Hazy Moon style, and their sword technique is called Black God One Blade style—but not much is known about their details or origins.

Es gibt einen neuen Teaser in dem scheinbar Spoiler drin sein sollen.
Kann ich aber nichts zu sagen da ich mir die restlichen Videos nicht mehr so genau anschauen werde.
Nicht bei der Menge an Spoilern die Falcom in ihre Openings steckt.



In einem total überraschenden Twist ist außerdem Ouroboros mal wieder in die Story involviert!

Walter Kron (37 Jahre alt)

Enforcer No. VIII of Ouroboros, he is a combat enthusiast with an air of violence.

A user of the Taito style, which is one of the three major Eastern martial arts, he is Ryuga Rouran’s top disciple, and was a senior pupil to Zin and Kilika.

In his student days, his martial arts skills were already developed well beyond that of an ordinary person, which attracted him to the concept of “power” itself, and instead of a “Friendly Fist,” he set out to hone a “Murderous Fist” to take the lives of others, including his teacher Ryuga.

He currently seems to be in pursuit of a young man in the Republic, where he encounters Van and the Spriggans…

Lucrezia Isselee (29 Jahre alt)

Enforcer No. III of Ouroboros, she is also known as “Golden Butterfly.”

A woman with a unique air about her, who always covers her face with a veil so her expressions are never visible, and is characterized by her gentle and elegant speech, which masks her true intentions.

She once fought against the Society as an assassin belonging to the organization Order of the Moonlight Horse. Though since losing the battle, she has joined the Society.

She wields a grotesquely large butter-knife shaped weapon called the “Dusk Glaive,” which she uses to unleash fierce attacks that erase space itself.

Mare

A custom-made Hollow Core (support artificial intelligence) installed to the Xipha, Van’s combat orbment.

Despite being an extremely self-assertive type, it has no “free will” and its personality is merely a facade of its artificial intelligence.

Like other Hollow Cores, it usually provides support through voice guidance, but around Van, it materializes in the real world as a hologram-like avatar after a “certain” occurrence.

When that happened, it showed a “free will” impossible for an artificial intelligence, and Van’s body was “covered in a nightmare”… transforming him into Grendel, who wields incredibly explosive power.

Creil Village

A rural village with a population of 1,000 people located in the countryside leading to Remiferia and Ored northwest of Calvard.

Many people come here from the city for recreation due to its beautiful and expansive rural landscape, and distant view of the mountains and hills in the northwest that lead to eastern Nord.

Since it is close to the national border, jaegers tend to stop by for food and rest, but since no group seems to be permitted to cause a disturbance in the village—as it serves as an inn town for all sides—its residents are not too worried about their presence.

Longlai

A small local city with a population of about 20,000 people located between the Tianshan and Ischgl mountains at the easternmost tip of Calvard.

Since long ago, it has served merchants as a gateway to the eastern part of the continent, but with the eastern part of the continent becoming more and more barren, traffic has been decreasing every year.

However, due to the rich cultivation of tea leaves and gushing hot springs in the surrounding area, it manages to maintain a certain level of popularity as a health resort and tourist attraction.

While the townscape is Eastern, it is not as flashy as the Eastern streets of Langport, and has a rustic atmosphere that invokes a sense of zen.

It is also known as a training ground for those training in the three major Eastern martial arts—the Moon Flower, Kunlun, and Taito styles.

Also ich warte ja immer noch darauf diese vertikaler designten Maps zu sehen die das Spiel angeblich haben soll

Es wurden zwischenzeitlich noch viele weitere Charaktere vorgestellt, aber irgendwann reichts auch mal

Dafür gibt es jetzt endlich einen richtigen Trailer, der allerdings auch nochmal einige Zeit damit verbringt die Charaktere vorzustellen.



Es wurde außerdem noch ein bisschen Gameplay gezeigt (so 21 Minuten ins Video).

Ist das eigentlich normal für die Reihe das schon im Vorfeld so viele Charaktere vorgestellt werden und dann tatsächlich eine Rolle in der Handlung spielen? Dachte nach den ersten 2 Batches wäre es das, aber uff! Ich meine, kann man sich da nicht auf eine Hand voll versteifen und diese entsprechend ausbauen, statt da so viel und das auch noch aus älteren Spielen in die Suppe hinzu zu geben?

Keine Ahnung, bei den anderen Teilen habe ich auf sowas nicht geachtet. Und Kuro soll ja angeblich nicht so absurde Ausmaße annehmen wie die letzten Teile der Cold Steel Reihe, wo man an einer Stelle einfach mal 39 Charaktere zur Auswahl hat. Es scheint aber so als würde es diverse Gastcharaktere geben die unter anderem von diesem L.G.C. Alignment System abhängen. Bleibt also abzuwarten ob die Story sich ansonsten auf eine kleine Kerngruppe fokussiert oder ob die Party im Laufe des Spiels immer weiter wächst.

Sieht auf den ersten Blick gut aus und irgendwie auch total nichtssagend. Ich bin gespannt, denn die Welt bietet scheinbar nach Cold Steel noch mehr als genug Material.
