As promised, we have our third localization mini blog for you today!
Translation: 100% complete
Editing: 100% complete
Yep! As of today, translation and editing are 100% complete, and the 11,000~ English voice files are 100% checked and ready to go as well. It feels great to have come this far without hitting any major bumps in the road.
Speaking of voice acting, we’re very pleased to say that all voice actors from the Trails of Cold Steel English cast reprised their roles for Trails of Cold Steel II! Fans of Trails in the Sky Second Chapter, however, might notice that a certain fabulous Phantom Thief has been given a brand new voice…and it’s ever so beautiful. We were all smiles as we recorded his lines.
If you happen to own the PC English version of Trails in the Sky Second Chapter and also happen to have save data before a certain fantastic battle, you’ll even be able to get a sneak preview of his Trails of Cold Steel II voice upon our next update. Keep an eye out for it in the next week or two.
Although we’re getting closer, there’s still lots and lots of work that needs to be done. As we wait for everything to be slapped together into the game so we can begin official testing, we’ll be dutifully writing game manuals, website text, and continuing to proofread in-game text for quality. Still, everything continues to stay on track, and we couldn’t be happier.
