Revolution: J.J. Abrams and Jon Favreau turn out the lights (TV Serie)

Producer J.J. Abrams has had good luck with shows that start with a plane falling from the sky, so it's no surprise that one of the first images we see in the clip for "Revolution" is just that -- a jetliner plummeting to the earth after the world's electricity is suddenly turned off.

Take a little "Lost," add in a touch of "The Hunger Games," "Escape from New York" and "Battlestar Galactica," and you'll get the general vibe of "Revolution" -- the result of a collaboration between Abrams and "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau.

Das Setting erinnert mich irgendwie an die ersten Bücher der S.M Stirling Reihe: Dies the Fire
