Ikaruga is a horrible shmup that gains too big of a spotlight in the gaming public. Horrible mechanics, dull graphics, and lack luster music create a horrible package which is ate up by the modern day Halo players. If you think Ikaruga is a good shmup, please do not hesitate to ask for much superior games to play.

lack luster music - point taken, es gibt durchaus bessere OSTs in shmups. Es gibt aber auch eine metrische Ficktonne an schlechteren.
Das eigentliche Problem lieg darin, dass Ikaruga Spaß macht und bekannt ist ud dass nicht mit dem Hipsterdenken der Shmupler zu verbinden ist, die sich ja selber als auserwählte Hardc0re-gam3r-elite sehen. Aber okay, aus denselben Gründen wettern die ja auch gegen Touhou
