Some points of yours I want to comment, the black outlines, for example in Saturn's face are mainpart of my style. Just like the minimalistic graphicstyle itself. So my way to make trees eg. (I hate this) is, that the color's getting darker as further it's going to the trunk.
I heard from different sources that this isn't as bad all in all as some people think. Ingame it doesn't annoy.
And if you believe or not, this trees are looking so much better then my first ones. xD
