Aber Teil 2 toppt das alles ja mal sowas von. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass Valve soo viele neue Ideen da unterbringen kann. Hauptsache, das Spiel wird länger als der Vorgänger. Ist nicht sogar ein Koop-Modus angekündigt?

Selbst mit der Handvoll neuer Gameplay Mechaniken die sie gezeigt haben kann man soviel anstellen. Das Game wird richtig Klasse, wobei ich mich vorallem wieder auf GlaDOS freue. Einer der besten NPCs ever. Die Personalty Sphere aus dem ersten Video scheint auch ziemlich witzig zu sein.

Game of E3?

Journey is pretty much everything you’ve come to expect from thatgamecompany, the folks who brought you flower. Despite the somewhat covert announcement (c’mon Sony, this should have been mentioned in your press conference), Journey promises “simple gameplay and accessible controls.” Naturally it looks super pretty to boot. We’re getting an ICO-esque vibe.

Interestingly, Journey is an online game, where players will encounter strangers throughout the game-world. It sounds like players will be able to affect the world for others too, which could be very ambitious.

It’s due in 2011. Our interest’s well and truly piqued. thatgamecompany are one of our favourite developers our there.

Oh Gott, der Zusammenschnitt ganz am Ende macht mich richtig heiß auf das Spiel. Hoffentlich heißt Vollpreis auch längere Spielzeit (ohne künstliche Streckung).

Zum Rest der E3:
Vom 3DS hab ich ein bisschen mehr erwartet, vor allem Design-technisch, aber solange man das noch nicht selbst ausprobiert hat, kann man da denke ich nicht viel zu sagen. Und laut ersten Erfahrungsberichten soll der 3D-Effekt ja recht gut sein.

360 Slim interessiert mich jetzt nicht so und ehrlich gesagt finde ich, dass Sonys Move einen runderen Eindruck macht als Kinect. Aber auch da wieder: Muss man wahrscheinlich erst mal selber ausprobieren. Wobei Move und Kinect sowieso einen riesigen Leistungsprung gegenüber Nintendos Waggle (auch mit MotionPlus) beweisen müssen, bevor mich das überzeugt. Aber wenigstens hat man bei Move/Kinect den Vorteil, dass Bewegungssteuerung nicht das einzige ist, was die Konsole ausmacht.

Wo ich allerdings viel Potential sehe, sind die 3D Bemühungen von Sony. Mag im Moment vielleicht noch sehr früh und die ganze Technik noch nicht 100%ig ausgereift sein, aber es ist gut, dass erste Schritte gemacht werden, denn ich kann es kaum erwarten, einen Bombast-Shooter in 3D zu zocken.
