    Touching Moments. Die bewegendsten FF-Zitate

    Ein paar memorable Szenen:

    Final Fantasy VII

Barret: Marlene!! Aerith was caught because of Marlene!? I'm sorry. Marlene'smy daughter. I'm …really…sorry…

Elmyra: You're her father!? How in the world could you ever leave a child alone like that!?

Barret: …please don't start with that. I think about it all the time. What would happen to Marlene, if I… But you gotta understand somethin'…I don't got an answer. I wanna be with Marlene… But I gotta fight. 'Cause if I don't…the planet's gonna die. So I'm gonna keep fightin'! But, I'm worried 'bout Marlene. I really just wanna be with her…always. See? I'm goin' in circles, now.

    ---

    [Bei Aeris’ Tod]
Cloud: ...Shut up. The cycle of nature and your stupid plan don't mean a thing. Aerith is gone. Aerith will no longer talk, no longer laugh, cry...... or get angry...... What about us...... what are WE supposed to do? What about my pain? My fingers are tingling. My mouth is dry. My eyes are burning!

    Final Fantasy VIII

Squall: (What Ellone said under her breath was... You're my only hope. Why do people depend on each other? In the end, you're on your own. I've made it this far by myself. Sure, I couldn't do a thing when I was a kid... I've depended on others, but... I'll be the first to admit that I'm here because of other people.)

Squall: (I'm fine by myself now. I have all the skills I need to survive. I'm not a child anymore. That's a lie. I don't know anything. I'm confused. I don't want to depend on anyone. How can I do that? Someone tell me... Someone? So I'll end up depending on others after all.)

    Final Fantasy IX:

Zidane: [...] And then, after much time on the road... He had to ask Colin something. 'Why did you come with me?'"
Dagger: "And? What was Colin's answer?"
Zidane: "'Only because I wanted to go with you.'"

    Final Fantasy IX

[Im Dorf der Schwarzen Magier in Gasthaus]
Zidane: "Once upon a time... ...there was a man. There was a man who didn't know where he came from..."

    Dagger: "...Zidane?"

Zidane: "This man had longed to find his birthplace ever since he was a small child. His birthplace. A place he only remembered in his dreams..."

    Dagger: "Why...?"

Zidane: "He wanted to know more about himself, maybe. About his place, the house where he was born... One day, the man left the home of his adoptive father and went on a quest to find the answer. His only clue was the blue light he saw in his dreams..."

    Dagger: "A blue light?"

Zidane: "Yeah. He thought it might be a memory of his birthplace. An ocean, maybe...?"

    Dagger: "Did he find it?"

Zidane: "Hey, you're jumping ahead. A lot of things happened along the way. Alright, we can skip ahead... No, he never found it. How could he? His only clue was a colored light. So he went back to the home of his adoptive father... What do you think his father did when he came home?"

    Dagger: "...Welcomed him home?"

Zidane: "No way! The father raised his fist and beat the son he had worked so hard to raise..." <Wham!> <Pow!> <Whack!> <Bam!>

    Dagger: "Why?"

Zidane: "I don't know... But you know what surprised him even more? The father smiled, after beating up his son! Can you believe that? He just gave his son a beating. But this is what the man thought when he saw his father smile... This is my home. This is the place I call home. The man is still searching for his birthplace. But he already has a home. Maybe... ...it's the same for Vivi. He's looking for a place to call home."

Dagger: "I wonder if Vivi will stay in the village?"

Zidane: "Who knows... That's for him to decide."
