Huh, die hauen aber wirklich einen DLC nach dem anderen raus^^ und dabei hab ich den mistigen Underdome noch nicht mal fertig... verdammt. Wenns ein so großer DLC werden soll wie da steht, dann aber auch bitte auf 1500 anheben und trotzdem bloß 800 Points als Preis.

Gearbox Software has officially announced and detailed the third and "largest" helping of downloadable content for its popular shooter RPG Borderlands, the level cap raisin' "Secret Armory of General Knoxx."

Gearbox and 2K promise "brutal, never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions" as well as "entirely new weapons and items" in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The next Borderlands expansion will, as previously promised, also raise the level limit from 50 to... a number larger than 50.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx appears to be tailored to challenge players "from around level 34 to level 50" according to Gearbox's announcement.

The developer did not date or price the expansion, which is due for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. But it did provide two screen shots!

Das liest sich schonmal gut, vor allem da es wieder ein normaler DLC wird. Bin schon auf die Achievements gespannt. Wenn ich aber lese, welches Level die Voraussetzung für den DLC ist, erwarte ich schon jetzt nur Gegner die als Kanonenfutter dienen.
Die sollen sich beeilen. Will mehr Borderlands zocken!

Ich bin mir fast sicher dass unter den Gegner unheimlich viele Guardians sein müssen, irgendwas müssen die Entwickler sich bei der 2500-Kills-Challenge ja gedacht haben.

Borderlands Retail Add-On Disc in February

Following in Fallout's footsteps (holy alliteration, Batman!), Gamestop has a new pre-order listing up for an add-on disc for Borderlands, set to include the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Max Moxxi's Underdome Riot DLCs together for $19.99 at a February 23rd release date. Not surprising as companies like to hit every market they can, and there are still people out there without Xbox Live. If you're one of those few or have just not yet checked out the content, you will soon have an alternative to spending those precious Microsoft Points.
