Working Designs on Game Boy Advance?
According to a comment made recently by Victor Ireland, president of localization extraordinaire Working Designs, his company is seriously considering releasing games for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. Previously, Vic stated that WD had no intentions of working on any cartridge system, because the royalties to pay for each cart would most likely exceed the amount the company would make on sales at retail. However, since royalties on carts have fallen in the last few years, Working Designs could likely turn a profit by releasing each game at a more than average price of $35 or $40. The additional five or ten dollars isn't that big of a deal, especially when considering the quality titles that are being left in Japan because no one will translate them. Hopefully, WD will announce some software for the GBA soon; in the meantime, all we can do is hope.
