Mal sehen, was ich da rauslese...

"Instead of traditional tabs like those seen in Firefox, Chrome puts the tab buttons on the upper side of the window, not below the address bar."
"We desperately want our browser to look different, so we changed something most people don't even notice to be illogical. But at least we're not the IE7 dev team."

"The browser has an address bar with auto-completion features."
"We really like Firefox 3."

"As a default homepage Chrome presents you with a kind of “speed dial” feature, similar to the one of Opera."
"We also like Opera a lot."

"Chrome has a privacy mode; Google says you can create an “incognito” window “and nothing that occurs in that window is ever logged on your computer.” The latest version of Internet Explorer calls this InPrivate."
"Hey, it's only fair to copy from all other browsers at once."

"Web apps can be launched in their own browser window without address bar and toolbar."
"We also really like 1998. Let's see how long it takes for us to announce 'You can force web apps to have an address bar and toolbar' as a security feature!"

"To fight malware and phishing attempts, Chrome is constantly downloading lists of harmful sites."
"We continue the fight for an internet of unlimited flatrates, one dial-up user at a time."

Und natürlich:
"beta"
"We will excuse every serious bug in our product with it being a beta version that just happens to be publicly available for testing. Maybe we'll call it final once we hit version 4.0."

Kommen wir zum Comic:
"Inhalt für Screenreader-Nutzer nicht zugreifbar."
"We don't actually like Firefox enough to properly support it in our crummy eBook web app. Actually, it's the eBook app we don't care much about."

"Wouldn't it be great, then, to start form scratch and design something based on the needs of today's web applications and today's users?"
"It'd be nice to start over from scratch. Too bad we won't actually do that."

"Browsers need to be more stable [and] faster [and] more secure."
"We just realized you can write applicatons with less than two gigs of RAM. Also, we noticed that it's relly easy to point out the obvious."

"[W]e want [...] a clean, simple and efficient user interface."
"We want the user interface every browser since Mosaic has been using."

"We want others to adopt good ideas from us..."
"Yeah, we can't really keep you from taking our code..."

"...just like we adopted good ideas from others."
"...but that's okay; the web browser business is all about copying from each other."

"multiple processes"
"Hey, look! We actually had an original idea! And it's even useful, too!"

"Whe one tab goes down you get a 'sad tab'."
"Mac OS 9 is not dead! Long live the Old World!"
