    Neues Final Fantasy Remix Album...

    Zitat Zitat
Square Enix has announced that a brand new Final Fantasy arranged album will be released. Called Final Fantasy Remix, it will feature a wide range of electronic remixes from the series. This is a first for Final Fantasy after various piano, orchestra, rock, vocal, concert, and world music arranged albums.

The album is produced by series' composer
Nobuo Uematsu, who has previously hinted that he was working on a new Final Fantasy album. The remixers are Western-born Tokyo residents Ian Hartley, an underground drum’n’bass and breakbeat DJ, and his associate Matt Baggiani.

Despite promises of a studio album if their music was sufficiently popular, the project has nothing to do with Square Enix in-house techno-pop unit muZik. Following their debut "Eternal Wind" remix on the Final Fantasy III Original Soundtrack, perhaps we can assume they have official disbanded.

Though no track listings have been announced, confirmed items are "The Prelude" (FFI), "Eternal Wind" (FFIII), "J-E-N-O-V-A" (FFVII), "Maybe I'm a Lion" (FFVIII), and "Ronfaure" (FFXI). "Blue Fields" (FFVIII) and "Zanarkand" (FFX) are also possible additions.

Final Fantasy Remix will be will be released by the Square Enix record label under the catalog number SQEX-10119 on August 6, 2008. The one disc release will cost 2500 Yen (25 dollars).

imho so überflüssig wie'n kropf......was meint ihr?
