Technically it seems to be state of the art. The areas are full of details, the graphics remain in a consistent style and the mapping is gorgeous.
The world map is great - not excessively full with areas but quite atmospheric - and wonderful shapes of islands - like Final Fantasy.
The combat system is brilliant - mainly because of the credit points. The same tactically attribute will be built in my game.
Plot technically it might be more interesting in the beginning. Well there are nice tower scenes - where this guy looks for the philosopher's stone in some kind of tower. For my share I marveled at the architecture of the tower where is plenty to discover - the monologue was some kind of flat - less interesting. You could have left it out - because these lines are neither interesting nor crucial for the plot (because nobody understands without anymore background).
The beginning of the main plot with these kids getting sucked in by a strange gate is a little to boring. The action of searching for firewood shall not achieve the desires of the fastidious present gamers and the dialogue is too flat and contains too little character and - regrettably - humour. There could be more personality in the dialogue.
After being sucked in the atmospheric part begins and then the game really might get my interest. But after a while it happened -

the BUG came. And destroyed my fun about your game. The bridge ... there is one event too much beneath under the two right spotted passing events. And this makes sure to get trapped in the balustrade.

It might be a good game... But I'm sorry that this little bug really can ruin everything. Your mapping is awesome. And it seems the atmosphere can also be that. So please sort out any of these fun-killing bugs.
