Hey!
Now that I'm re-watching season 4 I remembered the Rachel Blake video where she's talking to that guy in Iceland...
In one of the flashforwards of season 4 episode 1, The Beginning Of The End, Abaddon wants Hurley to go to another mental institute. That's what reminded me of the Rachel Blake video mentioned before.

Listen to him. He said: "You read my letter. The third basement, Miss Blake, it's not full of mental patients! They are mathe--(the tape skips here) mathematicians! Pulled from the world's finest, paid to come in, undercover, and work in secret, only I'm sure some of them don't want to be there. ... I don't know... they work day and night on this equation. And there's the savants."
Do you think they're talking about the same place? The third basement => the place where Abaddon wanted Hurley to go to?
He also says that there are "five, maybe six" Agyptian-like hyroglyphics and that they're "representational". But for what? Hm... Let's guess there are six signs, each for one of the numbers. And the numbers are variables that are needed to complete the Valenzetti equation. When Desmond, Kelvin or whoever typed the numbers into the computer, the equation was completed and the time reset to a point in time which is defined by the numbers that are typed into the computer. The software on the computer avoids the input of other numbers, because it would change the defined point in time. Maybe the numbers are the amount of hours or days till the end of the human race or the whole world and if someone typed the numbers, which are a distance (in time) till the end of the world (or whatever to...), the thing in the incident room caused some kind of Casimir Effect that set free the ZPE (Zero-Point Energy).
Just some ideas, wanted to read what you're thinking about that. :3
