    Hello everyone,
isn't Wilfried the Hero a german game?

  4. #4
Ne, das stammt von Theo Mathlein, der uns auch schon mit Sunset over Imdahl beglückt hat. Brandon Abley, der den Soundtrack komponiert hat, soll natürlich auch nicht unerwähnt bleiben.

Wooow this magazine looks amazing. o__o
    I could help translating.

    Project Rhapsody looks amazing.
It is nice to see some international RPG Maker games.

Das stimmt nicht, Theo war für die Grafiken verantwortlich, das eigentliche Spiel stammt aber ganz und gar von Brandon Abley.
(Und genauso hat Aldaran kein Suikoden KS, du bist wirklich alt geworden )

Looks pretty nice, I saw it somewhere before, but not in english .

The magazine looks really interesting, but imo it's not necessary to translate it into German because basic English shouldn't be a problem for us (although my written English ist very bad ).

    @Batista

The magazine "Maker World USA" is very great!
I've never thought that there would ever be a magazine about the RPG-Maker! I will download the magazine soon and have a look. Maybe I'll help, too. We'll see!
(That's my first time of writing English in a "Forum". Are there any mistakes in my text? Hm...)

Well, a magazine for the maker community certainly is a nice thing to have, but I must say, that I don't like it that much.
This opinion is based on several reasons.

First of all, there's advertisement in an online-magazine. Seriously, do you guys get money or something by advertising? In a maker-magazine?
The thing that annoys me is that I have to scroll endlessly to reach the actual content. But oh, what content...

The problem is, that you are rating too high. I admit there are several opinions on games, but giving Desert Island a nearly perfect mark is ridiculous.
Heck, you even gave a game a nearly perfect mark that hasn't been finished yet
(though is looks great; but marks should be given after testing the actual game).

The text itself is short, very short. And the amount of Info it contains is really low. To put it simple, you write nothing more than "Oh, it's awesome!" or "Looks Great!". Yeah, as a final conclusion it could fit, but what you did was to stretch that conclusion into a large textbox.

One positive thing though is the illustration. It's eye-candy and a good fundament to build on.

Well, you guys do it and do it for free, so I should not be that harsh.
So why do I criticize? Well, it has to be my nature to not just freak out like a little girl like "Oh awesome! A maker-magazine! I love you!"

That's all. Oh by the way, I look forward to the next issue, maybe it will be better.

welcome in the forum, really interesting out becomes to me it sees directly times to pull participates impressing projects.

How many expenditures give does it and is further expenditures planned? How many people work to the magazine?

Project Rhapsody is really interesting, made with which maker that? is there a demo there?

On the side I video to the play Resident Evil RPG Versão 2.1 saw, gives it there further information?

Ich glaube es wäre besser auf Babelfish zu verzichten. ^^" Da versteht man noch mehr wenn du es auf Deutsch schreibst.

    Thanks! We appreciate your opinion.
Actually, everyone is welcome to give their opinions about us, and as long it's quality criticism they'll only help us improve.
No, we don't get paid for the advertizing. It's free.
I disagree that Desert Island got a high rating. It's really great for an rpg maker game. It would definately make it to a list of the best current rpg maker games, imo.
    Marcus diz:
Like you said the info is short and so is the text.
And if you're able to tell us which parts you didn't like it and help us improve, we'll appreciate it. And if you want to give us a hand you can join us if you want to. Just get in contact with us.

    @waterboynation: hrhr, babelshit
@hian: Thanks for your offer, but I refuse, for me having my own business to do
9.5 is a rating for a game near the perfection, in my opinion. Games like Velsarbor would be probably worth that, but Desert Island has its lacks which are not that small. After all, it's just my opinion and we don't have to discuss now how good this and that game is and so on, you know?

Like I said before, this has potential and could be improved in various ways.
But anyhow, do your magazine, do it as long as it's fun.

You should learn how to use toners, just for the comic on the last few pages in your magazine.

@hian: I can't open the website, could you please upload it on a different homepage? From what I read here it seems to be a great mag, so I would really like to read it.

EDIT: Ok, now it works. Strange.^^
