Development update:
Currently, there are only 3 serious issues left on my ToDo list: HDR, random weather changes, and transparent moon textures. All three problems were in the game originally, and that's why it was so difficult for me to notice and fix them in prior releases. Anyway, while this version won't be introducing many new features, it'll provide fixes to the most of the RC1 problems (I've already made at least 50-70 minor adjustments to Natural Weather and Natural Habitat). I'm still not sure of the release date, but I expect to finish within a week, probably sooner. I apologize for unavoidable delays, but really I prefer to make the next version as flawless as it is possible.
A little review of currently completed modifications:
- improved flight paths for low-flying bird types.
- fixed a bug with insects spawning underwater.
- fixed a fast travel bug that allowed insects (including butterflies) to spawn in Bruma (snow-covered area).
- added additional safeguards for Oblivion planes (weather/wildlife).
- made various adjustments to insect scaling
- fixed and tweaked many individual weather types (repeating thundersounds, stationary clouds, wind force, sky saturation, bright fog issues).
- improved overall scene lighting for Clear and Cloudy weather types (the yellow tint problem). Currently in the process of tweaking default HDR settings to provide correct lighting conditions for HDR users.
- slightly prolonged (RC1) nights.
- added a detailed FAQ section to the Natural_Environments_readme.txt.
