[Technic trailer] - Infection - by Noanme

JEEEEEEESH!!!
This is heavy :D
Never thought it was possible... But... you have to use lots and lots of pictures and panoramas in this very only battle? So, if there are about 100 different battle situations in your game, how many thousands and thousands of pics and panos are you planning to use? Anyway, please let us know when there is something playable. I urgently wanna play the game xD
However... Your tachnique might be crazy, but i noticed a tiny mistake though. Watch the video again. After the ...maybe 3rd or 4th action of the mushrock (which somehow reminds me of the weird houses in FF7 on the way to the wall mart =P) the character suddenly has 01% HP. That's kinda odd in my point of view :P From about 90% suddenly 01%. However, amazing though ^^ Congrats

Story: Once uppon a time :) , there was a little town, called Krohona. There lived Omkar(one of the four defender of Krohona), and his son, Kimo. One day Kimo has infected by an unidentified virus, that infected Kimos upper body. The doctors have no choice, they must operate the kid, and cut the infected pieces of the body... Kimo losts both arms, and half of his own face. Omkar didnt want that Kimo lives without arms, so he asked the elders to use the two forbidden woods power. The elders agree it, but if Kimos body do something bad, the woods must be taken out of his body. The doctors made 2 arms with the two forbidden woods, and the another half face, and operate it to Kimos body, the wood mutated into Kimos body(i hope its not dificult to understand^^). Kimo was very happy, and he wanted to show his girlfriend the new arms. But his left arm grabbed his girlfriends neck. Kimo couldnt do anything, and his father stoped him, before murdering. The girl, and her family moved to another town. Kimo cuts his own left arm, because he was very angry, Omkar too. Omkar was angry about the infection. One day a rumor said that other towns has inspired a virus, the same virus that infected Kimo, and the rumor said that a monster has infected the peoples, a living tree. Omkar and some of the towners went to find the monster, but they never come back. But, the infection has stoped all the infected persons, maybe Omkar has stopped the monster. Kimo never met again with his father. Ten years later...
Kimo has growed, and now he is one of the defender of the town. One day lots of monsters attacked the town, and they blocked all the exits of the town, and the virus have appeared again. A new rumor said that Omkar hasnt killed the monster, but he has somehow stoped him for a while. Two of the defender has died in the battles, and the elders has planned a strike back to bring out the another two defender to find the monster, who send this monster army, and defeat him, once and for all...

I make the game 3 weeks ago, so i have just theese screens. I maked first the battle system, next will be the menu system.

Kohon: He is the commander of the Night Order (its a police in this world), he has ordered to help Kimos action, but he didnt wants, because he wants to defeat his own little brother, Kiago(he is a prodigy), because he broke his horn(yes, i know, just like in FFX, but not the same).

-3d grapich in battle, and lots of movies.
-Two languaged: english and hungarian
-CBS, ABS (battle system)
-CMS, (the menu system)
-Some mini-games.

und was ich schon immer mal wissen wollte: kann jemand die story und chara beschreibung übersetzten?... danke.

Ich war mal so frei und hab die Vorstellung übersetzt. :)

Story: Es war einmal eine kleine Stadt namens Krohona. Dort lebten Omkar (einer der vier Verteidiger der Stadt) und sein Sohn Kimo.
Eines Tages infizierte sich Kimos Oberkörper mit einem unbekannten Virus. The Ärzte hatten keine andere Wahl, als die infizierten Teile des Körpers zu amputieren. Kimo verlor beide Arme und die Hälfte seines Gesichtes. Omkar wollte nicht, dass Kimo ohne Arme lebt, also fragte er die Weisen, ob er die Kraft der zwei verboteten Hölzer verwenden dürfe. Die Weisen stimmten zu, aber nur unter er Bedingung, die beiden Hölzer von Kimo zu entfernen, wenn sein Körper irgendetwas Böses macht. Die Ärzte machten 2 Arme aus den zwei verbotenen Hölzern und die andere Hälfte des Gesichtes und operierten es an Kimos Körper. Das Holz verwandelte sich in die jeweiligen Körperteile. Kimo war sehr froh darüber und er wollte seine Freundin seine neuen Arme zeigen. Aber sein linker Arm ergriff den Hals seiner Freundin. Kimo konnte nichts dagegen tun, doch sein Vater konnte Kimos Freundin aus dem Griff des Arms befreien, bevor er sie umbrachte. Daraufhin zogen sie und ihre Familie in einer andere Stadt. Kimo schnitt sich den eigenen linken Arm ab, weil er wütend war. Omkar war wütend auf die Infektion. Eines Tages ging das Gerücht um, dass auch in andere Städten Menschen von dem Virus infiziert wurden und dass der Virus durch ein Monster, einen lebendigen Baum, übertragen würde. Omkar und einige der anderen Stadtewohner zogen los, um das Monster zu stoppen, aber sie kamen niemals zurück. Aber es traten keine weiteren Infektionen mehr auf, also waren Omkar und die anderen Leute vielleicht erfolgreich gewesen.

10 Jahre später...
Kimo ist gewachsen und ist nun einer der Verteidiger der Stadt. Eines Tages griffen viele Monster die Stadt an und sie versperrten alle Ausgänge aus der Stadt. Zu allem Überfluss tauchte der Virus wieder auf.
Nun war klar, dass Omkar das Monster nicht besiegen, es allerdings für einige Zeit stoppen konnte. Zwei der Verteidiger starben bei der Verteidigung der Stadt und die Weisen schickten die überlebenden zwei Verteidiger los, um das Monster endgültig zu töten.

Sista: Auch sie ist eine Verteidigerin der Stadt und hat sich Kimo angeschlossen. In der Stadt weiß man nicht viel über sie, außer dass sie die Stadt verteidigt und dass sie eine große Klappe hat.

Kohon: Er ist der Kommandand der Night Order, einer Art von Polizei. Er hat befohlen, dass Kimo bei seiner Queste geholfen werden soll, aber er selbst will nicht helfen, denn sein Bestreben ist es, seinen eigenen kleinen Bruder zu besiegen, weil dieser sein Horn zerbochen hat.

I really like the story, because I can't remember of any other similar to that one. Do you have any idea for the menu system? Don't keep it back xD

Yes the story is very uniq, but its not so long, there will be a second episode. The battle system will be done in may, and i will start the menu sys, and then i show you some pictures about it.

The battle system is very impressive due to the three-dimensional perspective and camera rotation. You must've lots of motivation by your side, I guess. xD
The only real drawback is the sloppy walk animation and the - probably - huge size of the game, data-wise. Final Fantasy 0 had more than 1000 Pictures and just as many panoramas and well, it was a pain to download it. X_X" Hope you use something like the PNG optimizer to compress the images further without quality loss.

Oh, and - please - if it turns out to be as huge as I expect it to be, do not use MP3s~ That'd be an overkill for my connection.

hm. it looks nice (for an amateur project), but i don't like the animation. the character walks like he got gout or something. the hit with the sword is...awful^^ i understand that your proud of it, i would be to :D
but ok. i dont understand why you're not just using an 3D maker but thats your thing. i dont think i will download an 1 GB game just for the graphics...
