Ihre "Mutter" hat schon gesagt, dass es ein Schicksals schlimmer als der Tod ist. Nur weil er keinen wahren physischen Körper mehr hat hört er ja nicht auf zu existieren. That's the best we could do.
DL: When we wrote that scene and somebody started shooting at them, we knew exactly who was shooting at them. That is not a dangling thread that we don't know the answer to. That being said, as we started talking about paying that off this season, it felt like the episode was at the service of closing the time loop, as opposed to what the characters might actually be doing in that scenario. It never felt organic. We decided we would rather take our lumps from the people who couldn't scratch that itch than to produce an episode that was in service of putting people in an outrigger and getting shot at.
You put people in a lot of outriggers this season. It feels, frankly, like you're taunting me.
DL: We can't entirely deny that we're taunting you.
CC: Honestly, though, the logistics of getting all the participants in the outriggers in the configuration that was on the A-side of the time loop was actually really daunting.
DL: Considering half of them had been killed off
CC: It's not like we didn't want to do it. Like Damon says, it was just too much of a narrative deviation to do it.

Ich hoffe einfach, dass die letzten Folgen einen würdigen Abschluss bieten. Mit Antworten darf man einfach nicht mehr rechnen. Aber es sollte einfach von der Dramaturgie, dem Acting, und dem Writing an die grandiosen Lost Folgen der vergangenen Staffeln anknüpfen, und nicht an das, was in Across the Sea geboten wurde. Sprich es muss einfach handwerklich gut sein. But I've looked into the Script of the Finale, and what I saw was beautiful!

Insgesamt eine gute Folge, aber ich habe wirklich VIEL mehr erwartet.
Bens plötzlicher Seitenwechsel war ridiculous. Was soll er noch mit der Insel, wenn niemand mehr darauf ist, der sich ihm unterwerfen kann und es auch keinen Jacob mehr gibt, dem er dienen kann? Naja, hat sich ja sowieso erledigt, wo er jetzt weiß, dass Flocke die Insel zerstören will. :\

Allerdings war die Jack zu jacob Transformation ein wenig antiklimatisch. Dass jack der neue beschützer wird ist fast zuuu offensichtlich. Dachte das passiert noch was.

Ben Re-redeemed oder doch ein CON? Tippe auf Zweiteres, das "gib mir ein Walky Talkie" muss ja auch irgendeinen Sinn gemacht haben.

dass richard tod ist, glaub ich erst wenn ich seine leiche sehe... man kann nen char, der so gesehen unsterblich ist doch nicht einfach so ausm weg räumen.
ich hoffe auch mal, dass ben nur so tut, als sei er der böse. ansonsten leidet meine liebe für ihn doch sehr (vorallem nach dem dollen flashsideway in dieser folge).
andererseits, hat sich desmond wieder in ne viel bessere richtung entwickelt. hatte die letzten folgen schon befürchtet, die verhunzen ihn.
edit: da fällt mir ein... hab ichs vergessen, oder gabs noch keine juliette in den flashsideways zu sehn?

Die Folge wirkte jetzt schon so ... entgültig. :D Der Kack, auf den sechs Jahre hingearbeitet wurde, kommt jetzt. Ich geh da jetzt aber ohne große Erwartung drauf zu. Mal sehn was passieren wird...
