Sehr geehrte MMXler, seid Willkommen zur diesjährigen Ausgabe des offiziellen Multimediaxis Tokyo Game Show Thread. Diesmal leider etwas verspätet, da ich es ziemlich verplant hatte das die TGS 2014 bereits übermorgen losgeht. Nachdem die Tokyo Game Shows der letzten Jahre eher "lame" waren scheint es dieses Jahr möglicherweise anders zu werden.

Sony hat auf jeden Fall laut einem Leak schonmal ordentlich was zu zeigen. Noch mehr Bloodborne, endlich mal was zu Persona 5 und selbst Capcoms deep down gibt's auch noch. Insofern schauen wir doch einfach mal ganz lässig was da noch so folgen wird. Ansonsten gilt was die letzten TGS auch galt: "Don't get your hopes up". Ihr wisst schon im Bezug auf Final Final Fantasy XV, Last Guardian und so...

Ich warte dann auf einen hoffentlich kommenden neuen Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer. Rest ist erstmal egal. xD

Also mir gefällt der Final Fantasy Trailer. Endlich mal wieder „neues“ Material. Die abgefahrenen Hotspots, die Monster, die generell schicke Optik? Toll! Was mir nicht so gut gefällt: der Trailer wirkt stellenweise wie eine Autowerbung für ein Premiummodell und ich weiß bisher absolut nicht, wer wer ist. Ich mein, die Japano-Typen sehen alle gleich aus. Schwarz gekleidet mit beknackter Frisur. Etwas mehr Farbe und Individualität bei den Figuren wäre schon sehr nett. Gerade bei teambasierten RPGs. Ich mag gerade die bunten Truppen aus den alten FFs oder den letzten großen CRPGs wie Mass Effect oder Dragon Age. Und jetzt kommt SQE mit einer Partie grau in grau… Naja, eine Frau wäre schon mal ein Anfang…

Ooohhh, neues Romance Of The Three Kingdoms?
Hoffentlich kommt das auch in einer menschlichen Sprache.

Wow, der neue Bloodborne Trailer sieht einfach mal so massiv richtig aus.

Obwohl ich ja Angst habe, dass ich bei dem offensiven Gameplay als Tank aus Tradition keine Chance habe, aber das wird so gezockt!

Das Charadesign ist das schlimmste das ich jemals in einem Spiel gesehen hab. Sowas unpassendes ürgh ;(
An einigen anderen Stellen ist mir das Spiel auch irgendwie zu bunt und zu wenig detailreich. Wieso kann es nicht so wie der Manabaum auf der Packung aussehen?

Naja typisches Mana Spiel eben. Da geht es nicht so viel um die Welt, Story oder Charaktere. Ist eher so ein Diablo in Zuckerbunt, wo man sich (am besten) mit mehreren Freunden durch Gebiete prügelt und große Bossgegner vermöbrelt und dabei immer stärkere Waffen craftet.
Was ich nur nie verstehe dass die meisten Leute von den Nachfolgern enttäuscht sind, weil sie nicht so wie die Super Nintendo Teile seien... Dabei sind sie wie die Super Nintendo Teile, nur in BESSER! (Was trotzdem nicht heißt das ich was damit anfangen kann.)

Irgendwie wirkt das Gameplay von dem Ding ziemlich träge...

Das sieht eher aus wie für den 3DS. Vita can do better.

Was zum Reaper geht hier ab? Man kann doch nicht dreimal den Rise of Mana Trailer raushauen, wenn kurz davor der geniale Bloodborne Trailer eine Plattform bekommen hat und keiner reagiert. Ne, also wirklich. :D

Generell schein ich aber nicht mehr wirklich zur TGS-Zielgruppe zu gehören. Die Japaner entwickeln (mit wenigen Ausnahmen) immer mehr an meinen Spielvorstellungen vorbei. Irgendwie wirkt es über weite Strecken so, als würde der westliche Markt mit dem Spieler mitwachsen, während der japanische in einer bestimmten Altersgruppe verweilt und eine ganz andere Art von Kunde bedienen will. Ich hatte mir z.B. die Secret of Mana-Helden in der heutigen Zeit anders vorgestellt. Dieses ganze Kopffüßler-Ding funktioniert einfach gar nicht mehr für mich und dürfte in der Regel nur noch in Kombination mit dem geschmeidigen Ghibli-(ähnlichem)-Design klar gehen. Find die heutige Interpretation von japanischen RPG-Figürchen teilweise echt hässlich, wäre früher höchstwahrscheinlich auch nicht anderes gewesen. Sprites hatten einen gewissen Charme und FF7 diese toll gerenderten Hintergründ, aber das hier? Ne, nicht meins.

Auch das SQE jetzt scheinbar einen reinen Bro-Trip mit FFXV aufziehen will und irgendwie nicht der „alle 30 Sekunden gibt es war zu entdecken“ Doktrin folgen möchte (eben nicht wie bei Skyrim und anderen westlichen offeneren Spielen – z.B. AC) lässt mich aufhorchen. Eine reine Männertruppe ist echt .. meh. Dann auch noch in schwarz. Da geht mir irgendwie die bunte Dynamik aus anderen Partie-RPGs flöten, die ich so in den letzten Jahren Lieben gelernt habe. Gerade die „Frauen“ waren in vielen Spielen herausragend (z.B. Tail und Liara aus ME oder Morrigan aus DAO). Und wenn die Welt zwar groß aber leer sein sollte und deswegen dieses unnötig flippige Premiumauto eingesetzt wird warte ich lieber doch erst mal ein paar westliche Meinungen ab. Auch wenn ich jetzt schon – wie lange – 5 Jahre auf ein neues, richtiges FF warte bin ich doch alles andere als gehypt.

Mit Final Fantasy XV als letzte große Hoffnung für den dortigen Konsolenmarkt: Na dann gute Nacht! :D Wobei die Klamotten der Emo-Jungs und ihr Hippster-Gefährt sicher den ein oder anderen Interessenten mehr anlocken dürften. Aber ernsthaft, viele japanische Entwickler wirken oft recht weltfremd und interpretieren wirklich genau die falschen westlichen Elemente in ihre doch recht eigenständigen Spiele und wundern sich dann, warum es in Kombination eben nicht funktioniert (siehe Resident Evil). Mich würde echt mal interessieren, woher die ihre katastrophalen Marktstudien beziehen. Auch deren PR wirkt über weite Strecken einfach chaotisch und leicht dösig. Wenn ich nur an Toriyamas (?) Frisuren/Kristall-Interview zu einem Teil der XIII-Saga denke....
