Dark Eternal: Dissolution has been in development since December '04, and now over a year later, the final version is to be released in the coming week. Along with a slew of changes, some of the major additions to the game include a brand new message system, featuring a higher resolution skin and face graphics, 6 additional sidequests and minigames, many additional cutscenes and story sequences throughout the game, over 150 redesigned maps, an extended ending and much more.

Story Prolouge:
___________________________________________________
Nearly 3000 years have passed since the seperation of the realms. The Void, The Living and the Dormant. Our story takes place on the planet Norturne, a place where The Living realm flourished in a post-dark ages renissance of sorts, hosting a plethora of different forms of life and resources. Although the three known nations of Norturne, 'Arnia', 'Nikotha' and 'Daerok' are constantly bickering with one another, a war has not been seen by the citizens of Norturne in recent history. All is not as grand elseware, however, in the Dormant realm. Although the Dormant realm is much more advanced in terms of technology and and scientific discovery, it suffers from corrupt dictatorships and constant war. Due to all of the advances made on Norturne in the 'Dormant realm', they also suffer from lack of resources and polluted air supply.
Dissoultion begins with a seemingly normal young man called, 'Danis', floating ashore in northern Nikotha unconcious. He is later discovered by a local Vagrant named, 'Brian', and after a short discussion, Brian decides to help Danis find his lost past. Danis and Brian will travel through a slew of different regions and citys, all the while meeting many friends and foes along way, on their path to discover the secrets of Danis' dark past. Dissolution is Part I of II, meaning it is more accuratly half of a full length game. Dissolution takes place mostly in the Living Realm of Norturne, with an ending that will leave most people who finish the game with more questions than answers.
