boss battle and item exchange.

ok. ive come to a place in my story where my charter encouter the first boss battle.

i have asword statue event, how can i do that when my charter touch the sword statue, a sword is placed in invetory, and right after the sword is taken. the sword statue should change to another sword statue but this statue has no sword on it.. so directly. a cahnge of event picture. and when the sword is taken and the statue change. my party should be trown into a boss battle and afther the battle the event can never occour again.

how can i do this?

You have to make the statue as en event.the startfork is 'on hero touch'.when you have done this you have to make an event with this:

<>fork condition tab '001' OFF
<>Item change +sword 1
<>move event 'Statue' change grafik 'statue2'
<>start battle 'endboss'
<>set tab '001' ON
<>
<>?????
<>
<>end


i hope i can help you with this...sorry when you cant read it or the event names are wrong....(i have the german patch^^)

excuse me....it means this event name that came when you make a fork condition!....i dont know the word!.....sorry, it came from alone....(have i say it right?

or mean you the event name 'tab'?
ohhhhhh!yes....it means switch!^^

if possible. could you make an exaple event of the sword getting into my inventory of how it would look like? you can make it in you own languaged RPG maker so i can se a complet event.. i think i can find my way around ^_^
